I love this series because Grubby hasn't forgotten how it's like to play the game as a newbie and isn't mindlessly trashing these guys for their mistakes. Often times these kind of videos can be quite mean, but in the hands of Grubby they feel oddly wholesome.

For almost 20 years i shied away from pvp, only played custom games. You and bronze league heros gave me the confidence to try it and while I lose most games I am having a blast and it has become my favorite game. Thank you Grubby! You are the best! ❤

I played WC3 again last night after 12 years because I was inspired by your bronze league videos, and this sounds embarrassing for a lot of experienced players, but never have I defeated an Insane difficulty AI until that very night, all the knowledge I have learned from you made the AI look like a piece of cake the moment I noticed my bad habits and saw the AI's flaws and weaknesses (I now understand why bronzies have thousands of resources btw, because I also happen to do it unintentionally :p I realized it's a by-product of low APM because I know what's happening for the most part but my petty mouse movements and lack of unit group selections really put a toll on me). Though I was only a prepubescent child that time who only plays campaign and creates silly maps from the editor, when I played the game again as a present young adult it feels like I'm playing an entirely new game again, and I will continue to play until my ideas run dry. Thanks Grubby for reigniting my childhood 🏆

So, I think bronze players are doing power builds and buys heroes not because they are impatient and impulsive. They lack the concept of timing but are very aware of the time progression of the game. The longer you wait the stronger the opponent is. So they are always being chased by this invisible time monster and make them think " I have to push for faster development" but in reality it's not being utilized at all.

I always thought that everyone is a pro and super good because the game is so old and everyone plays it for years already so that I would have never the chance to start pvp. (Played one match several years ago and got CRUSHED) But this Series motivates me to give it a try

This is a video everyone can appreciate because everyone started out bronze even grubby, as he watches he is reminded fondly of his early days not microing his archers, as he watches his descendants who inherited from the likes of him advanced techniques such as denying their own creeps which was unheard of in grubby s time, like a baby bird learning from mamma bird, yet at the same time combined with clumsy noob skills makes it quite an endearing combination

So, I played W3 for 2 years, up to level 28, without using (nor knowing I could use) control groups, to only discover it a few years ago... I'd always select my 12 units army with mouse EVERY single time, which was such a hassle especially when defending in my base with peons running in the middle. It might explain bad micro in bronze, and I might have been below this level microwise xD

The legion doom horn was cursed like Frostmourne. That's why the players didn't take it. It would have slowly consumed them.

Hey grubby, would be nice if you could host a bronze league tournament, like you did with the WarHarmmer map. Would be very interesting to see how the bronze/silver players could come up with when they are playing for stakes and it could inspire players that never engaged with competitive gaming to give it a shot.

not sure if anyone has tried this stratagy , but go taurens and walkers , with docs ? in a 1v1 , teamkill the taurens in a circule , wait for the opponent to walk by ( seen by docs wards ) the resurect the taurens in a surround

Bit over 7% movement speed. 7% of 270 would be 18.9, but 20 is still a little closer to 7% than 8%. The actual percentage is about 7.41% but that's ever so slightly above 20 (it's 20.007, but that's about as far as I feel like calculating tbh), but rounding down I'd just go with 7.4% I bet you a LOT of players don't even know quests exist in Elden Ring. Fromsoft goes too hard on the "never hold the players hand" mentality. It's been working for them so far though, but there's a high chance it won't work for them forever.

maybe tey foret or wat appens to me reularly, if i ave a ero in a control roup and click an item, it sometimes doesnt pick it up. i need to solo select tat ero and pick it up for it to work.

As simple as he didn’t see it, Or since he got “jacked” his mind went to defense mode and probably panicked a bit forgetting he hasn’t picked up the item yet. A lot of these “standard” ways of play have been engraved in us over the years, these players are most likely still trying to figure out hotkeys and control commands. Let them cook

I want nothing more but to become proficient in wc3, but I find myself having to make decisions I don’t wanna think about, probably why legion td is more appealing. Yet I persevere battling the computer cause nobody can see me lose. Here’s another thought if I try wc3 champions and do something wrong , do I feel bad for whomever started the match with me?

BOTH players really went and left the legion doom horn on the ground. human didn't pick it up despite clearing the camp. orc didn't pick it up despite (probably) seeing that it was there when he tp'd out. human even had 2 flying machines sitting in its immediate vicinity for like 10 minutes. nope. nobody took it. bruh i am sitting here creaming myself at the prospect of a tauren chieften with lvl 3 endurance aura + legion doom horn. the sheer speed of his army would be like perma speed scrolled units, but nooo...

Same... I mean I know this is bronze & people don't have much skill or game knowledge, but something like that is just pure stupidity. The high-level item is arguably the biggest reason to take the red spot - so how is he just forgetting about it? Especially when he stayed in view of it for another 30 seconds, and THEN had a fight there for another 30 seconds?!? Absolutely maddening.
