it's buddha not budha, budha means mercury(the planet), budh(mercury) ascribes to human intellect called buddhi , one who has transcended his intellect(buddhi) is know as a buddha ( buddhi + dada) or if you are below ur intellect we call you buddhu (buddhu)

You lot have got it all wrong, Buddha was born in 'Jambudeepaya' modern day Sri Lanka. Go to Sri Lanka, do your research, read the Suthra canon ..it has all the details which describes the places where lord buddha preaches ... you can see those places today because they are all made of granite- not with bricks ...brick is something that came after the buddha's time!! STOP your misleading comments/explanations and theories to mislead buddhists
