Hello, nice to meet you 😊 I plan to reproduce your dino for my son's birthday and I have a question about proportions: 60 g for body, 35 g for feet, 25 for the head. Does this sound you alright? Note that my cake pan is 15x10 cm...it will be my first try with fondant, I have only trained on play Doh so far 😂 thanks in advance for your reply!

Do you add anything to your fondant? yours seems to mold more like a clay, my fondant doesn't hold shape like yours

U have to use Gumpaste , not fondant . Fondant is for covering cake .For Modelling , we have to use Gumpaste .

I use fondant for all my toppers and just add tylose powder for it to dry quicker.

I made this topper using fondant. I couldn’t make properly neck & tail. When I was making it’s accurately correct. After one hour that neck & tail length were reduce. Neck & tail also sagging. What did you use to make this topper. Did you use fondant or something else. Could you please reply as soon as possible. I need this topper on 28th June (Tomorrow). Please reply me early

U have to use gumpaste to make toppers..fondant will not hold shape and will saggy as it absorbs moisture ..u have to keep the topper under a 60 watt bulb to make it dry if ur country climate is humid

What is the liquid you apply with the brush to stick the gumpaste

It’s edible glue , u can either buy it or u can make by mixing a bit of Tylose powder or cmc powder with water, it will be cloudy first but will be clear liquid after mixing some time

Gumpaste and fondant are different.. To understand easily, i will say fondant for covering cakes and chewable where as gumpaste for making decorations which will firm to rock hard based on climate.. We can transform fondant to gumpaste by adding cmc to it
