Maybe put the two shafts together before adhering to the sole?
@leawofford849511 ай бұрын
I tried making these smaller, but it was a disaster. Nothing would line up. I decided to use the template as is. I had a hard time getting the 2 shafts to join. So I decided to make 2 cardstock shafts and tape them side by side. This way there would be one seam instead of 2. I joined the seam together and let it dry for a few minutes then sat it on top of the sole. It fit almost perfectly, I only had to make a few minor adjustments. I also added cmc powder to the soles and let them dry overnight. This way they were easier to handle when adding the shaft. Thanks the the video and template.

That's great to hear that you were able to get it to work! Yes these are so small as it is, I'm sure if they were smaller it would be very difficult. Good call on making the 2 pieces join into 1!
