You're most welcome. I usually don't keep that long out of the fridge. However, late last year/early this year, I had to leave a particular treat box of mine out (just at room temperature) for more than 3 days unplanned and nothing happened to the cakes.

Yes I have experience this a couple of time too. I got frustrated at first. What I did was continue kneading and same time adding the red color and all of a sudden saw my fondant turned red. The key is to add generous amount of food coloring

Greetings from Rep. Of Panama. Because it is really humid here, I find that fondant tends to stay wet if I put it in the fridge or A/C. Any tips?

Greetings from Nigeria. You don't actually need to keep it in the fridge. Under what temperature does it not sweat if you don't mind or is this always the case? It's almost the same kind of weather here in Nigeria and when I work, I do that with my AC on after which I store with the AC on as well. So you may either need to get a new recipe or tweak what you currently have to suit the weather.

Me I’ve come again with question oo 🤣🤣 so let’s say I make fondant and use it like an hour or two later, is that enough time for it to set.... I realize when I make fondant a day ahead, it give me elephant skin even when I knead well, the moment I touch fondant with a little water to fix the elephant skin, then I start to struggle with it till I get frustrated. Lol 😂 so I thought doing it same day and using it might be less of a mess. What do you think ma

Lol, no wahala!😀 Sure, it is. You can use some hours after making if it has firmed up or set a bit. And since it works for you, it's absolutely fine.😊

I’ve actually not tried doing it same day... I’m only thinking it might work. Like trying another method since doing it a day ahead or overnight is a struggle for me. That’s why I ask if you think that might work. Maybe from your experience you’ve been in a situation where you had to do same day and use it same day and it works for you
