Did i just invent a new subgenre? I just might have...anyhow, welcome to my latest offering. This is basically an inside joke I made for my wife, who actually doesn't like it. She invented the character, but I brought this motherfucker ALIVE. But since we've been together so long, I don't even remember what Fontaine Fishburne is all about, so let me make something up real quick:
In another time, another place far beyond our own infantile understanding of how the universe works, Fontaine Fishburne, a fabulous Filipino folk singer with a flair for felicitous, feel-good phrases...suddenly felt feckless and forlorn; so when he listened to a few Tony Robbins cassettes he got at a "tiangge" (flea market), he decided to change his life for the better, to break out of the mold as they say. Inspired, he stayed up late watching The Biggest Loser (Pinoy Edition) while drinking San Miguel Light...and finished this song. The next day, he called up his musician buddies in Quezon City and, well, the rest is totally fabricated history.
