Fontaine Made DPS Nilou Even STRONGER

With the release of Fontaine in Genshin Impact, we received a number of ways to increase the damage of our C6 DPS Nilou. Golden Troupe increases her skill damage even more, and Furina ups the damage of just about any character.
So today we put our copium artifacts to the test to see how much damage we can get our elemental skill to do.

Assuming crowned burst, with c6, the damage for the second hit of the burst should be: 1st hit deals 39.17% of Max HP 2nd hit does 47.87 of Max HP 1st hit did 537362 2nd hit would do 537362x47.87/39.17 = 656715!

Who said Nilou's only good for bloom teams? :) I'm also a proud Nilou main. Just put her anywhere Ayato would fit in!

While you can do whatever you want with whatever characters, Java's Nilou is C6 and therefore has a lot more hydro application than she would at C0. Ayato, however, has more of it at C0 than she does at C6. That's not a reason to shame people for how they want to play the game, so I'm not gonna, but a reason to why most would use Ayato and not Nilou in classic hydro vape comps, for example.

@@masterpieceofsunset61 it just matters who's vaping. if its the same team (example : xiangling bennett yunjin ayato/nilou) ayato's hydro application would allow xiangling to vape more often, as is in the case of childe, however nilou would vape more instead as her hydro application can't keep up with xiangling. the reason why people would use ayato instead of nilou could be a difference in builds(bloom nilou) or just personal preference. nilou's hydro application is largely unaffected by constellations anyways. i would personally use ayato/childe as i have pride in my xiangling build and feels that she would deal more damage than if i built dps nilou. the only exception is that java's nilou is c6, which makes her easier to build with the extra 30% crit rate and 60% crit dmg. all things considered, i think that people should just play the characters they like regardless of any meta.

Whether you did MHunter or Not, I'd also love to see it! Maybe with Nahida and a high healing Yaoyao or Baizou. You won't get the shred but you'll get massive Hydro damage, alongside great Bloom damage

MH set doesn’t buff Nilou that much since she doesn’t do damage from Normal/Charge attacks. She is mostly Elemental and Burst damage.

The best thing about Fontaine besides underwater exploration with Kokomi or Nilou is that it revives or boost older characters even like Jean and DPS Noelle which is fantastic for novel playing.

Love your channel and the fact that you play DPS Nilou too is sooo cool! I just uploaded a Nilou Hypercarry Abyss run and im so happy with Furina's addition to the game and her sword. Mine is only c2 but i was quite surpised how she crushed this abyss. DPS nilou is no long "cope".

I think you can optimize this further. For my DPS Nilou, I like to use 4 piece Vouruksha's Glow, since it buffs Skill and ult damage up to 50%, while giving health. For her team, I use her, Furina, *Baizhu,* and Xiangling. You unfortunately lose VV Shred, however, Baizu enables Burning, and bloom reactions, which Xiangling can then burgeon. The burgeon AND burning sets off Vouruksha's with minimal effort, AND even with Furina, you can almost always vape the 3rd hit of E. Happy dancing!

You can also use bennet in replacement of xiangling since jean can self swirl which leads to more pyro app he buffs her healing has his own healing and lower energy requirements

a second healer is redundant in furina comps, you want a big nuke heal to maximize fanfare when youre at low hp, and bennett doesnt allow that. he also doesnt help the team as much as he normally would, since furina and nilou both scale hp so an atk buff isnt needed at all. sunfire furina can work but classic vape does it better

Bennett heals single target and you have to swpa through your whole team on his ult to gain fanfare, that's why jean is used. Also because Bennetts atk buff is useless on nilou

It doesn't, which is great because otherwise the damage would be pretty terrible lol It's pretty much a stance (called "sword dance") in which her usual NA are replaced with a different NA string during a set amount of time, kinda like Raiden. Meaning that just like her she can activate Xingqiu and Yelan's bursts, all the while not needing any investment into her actual NA talent since her damage doesn't scale on it. And since it's considered Skill DMG, Golden Troupe does buff it - although this also implies that 2pc Marchaussee doesn't, on the other hand.

randomly wanna say something kinda fun about the genshin food, it's that you can stack crit foods plus the HP foods since crit is atk dish and HP counts as a defense dish. also why don't you use the Diluc/Qiqi/Lyney/Neuvillette special food that increase crit rate and crit damage by 20% instead of that 16% crit food?

My preferred in-field Nilou team is Furina-Yelan-Baizhu (C2 is amazing here) - and Nilou. If you're lucky enough to get C2 Nilou then she basically has built in VV shred against Hydro and Dendro so you get really strong single target dps and decent AOE dps. Also if you're going for skill damage then you should consider using Furina's weapon on Nilou since it buffs skill damage even more while still buffing HP and has a lot of CD%.

@@martinvazquez3621 If you have Furina in your party then using Furina's Weapon on Nilou would be better than Jade Cutter due to the passive always being activated. It is also better than Key for personal skill damage, but you would be losing out on some bloom damage and elemental burst damage if you use it.

i think a 4 piece varoucashkas glow (idk how its spelt) is better i think furinas HP drain works on its passive and if it does I think it can give 54% skill and burst damage and the 2 piece hp
