dude i remember in around 1.1 or 1.2 or so i realized wangshu inn has a lift and i got excited and thinking about how modern genshin feels like just because of a working lift that you can actually use (even if it's shitty and we gotta need to wait for it to return) and then fontaine got released

well it is kind of explained why its only in fontaine, you know, stuff like the statue's benediction would only work in its country or other lore stuff like fontaine's water being a different kind of water than the rest (example : you cant freeze it) ... but yeaaah i agree i want to stop drowning or at least, make it not as fast, its stupid

Bro. The Liyue's lift is a joke. But the superiority of many parts of the game in Fontaine is a good sign. It shows that the game is getting better and better. I only wish we could swim without draining normal stamina for other nations, even if we can't dive. Just so You don't drown. What would that change? The only part that could You cheat that way would the island in the Mondstadt. Meanwhile Wanderer can break some puzzles, ignoring the necessary steps. You can collect dendroculus that needs You to activate fan, that You can't activate without doing parts of the quest. You can skip Sorush puzzles with Wanderer too. And so much more. So I don't see a reason why couldn't we swim infinitely everywhere.
