So gald to see it finally finished. Was so tired like the rest of us in Las Vegas seeing the unfinished hulk standing there for over a decade. One small issue I see with the room. The illuminated buttons next to the bed. They should be amber so that at night it won't blind the guests who are sleeping. My preference is a very dark room. Like the Wynn which had it from the start, the amber nightlight under the bathroom sink is a good feature. Like the style of the place and the bow tie theme which came from the Miami location in which they have that theme on the lobby floor. Hope the place does not get ratty over time.

Anybody who knows Las Vegas understands that this location is in the ghetto. You will spend more money on Uber to get to anything fun. Although the location is getting better in my humble opinion you’re better off staying near Aria Wynn Cosmopolitan Venetian Palazzo Paris Bellagio. Most people partying in Vegas never spend much time in the room. The Strat is very close to the Fontaine and it’s like flying spirt airlines if you know you know.

Just got back from a 4 night stay at the Fontainebleau. My opinion, it's a beautiful hotel, away from the strip. We however spent a small fortune on Uber and cabs while we were there. Rooms were very nice I just wish they would have had a mini espresso or coffee machine. We were on the 50th floor so going downstairs to Chez Bon Bon and spending almost $40 for two muffins and 2 coffees were a rip off. Will I stay there again...no. I would rather spend little more and be in a more convenient location that has more amenities in the room. I don't feel this is a family friendly hotel. It's more for the convention crowd being the convention center is very close by.

I dunno. Was this hotel really worth waiting 15 years for? It sat unfinished on the strip so long, they should have just named it The Never Ending Story. And from the outside, I don't think it has any real eye appeal. There are much more stylish hotels, like Resorts World or The Wynn, that look more inviting. Personally, however, I don't stay on the strip in Vegas. I prefer off-strip hotels and AirBNB rentals because it's safer and less expensive, plus there's less traffic and some great local eateries off the strip. Another awesome video, Chris. Thanks. All the best to you and your family in 2024. Travel safely!

Thanks for the video! Finally, I had the chance to see the inside of a room. As for the plug, I've noticed some hotels have a switch (mostly in the entrance of the room) that is actually the switch that turns on the power to the outlets. I stayed at a villa in Vegas and noticed some outlets didn't work. It turns out that there's a random switch that has to stay on if you want power to all of the outlets. Location, location, location. This joint has none of those. At a minimum, there should be an inside walkway to get you close to the Convention Center or Westgate monorail station (new CC space is still under construction - should make it a bit easier once that's complete). Some reliable, frequent, and complimentary shuttles would soften the blow, but I don't bring a car to Vegas & this place kinda traps you. That makes it a hard no for me.

When I went to Vegas, I went to see all the Cirque du Soleil shows, so "center strip" was ideal -- I could easily walk to all of them. The Fontainbleau is apparently at the north end of the strip, so you would have a significant walk (1-2 miles) to shows/locations at the south end. Nothing to worry about if you're in good condition, but if not you may have to take a cab to some of them. FWIW the hotel looks great!!
@MH_616011 ай бұрын

Other than convention traffic what reason do people have to stay there other than it's very nice? No poker room, nothing to do around it, limited entertainment (as yet) just will be a problem just like Resorts world found out.
