Every school in the country should have a jr ROTC program.

Is the EGA they wear the same one we wear? Hard to see it, but inappropriate if not earned, just my opinion.

YOUR DISMISSED Proper Response: “DISMISSED AYE SIR” they didn’t say it

Did you serve in the military? If not, these are kids trying to better themselves and or preparing themselves to join the military. If you did, you ought to know better that these are kids and aren’t in the real military.

@joshuahamby2199 yes, I am currently active duty and I only see like 2 people who will actually make it through.
@joshuahamby21993 ай бұрын
@@alemar123 So if you’re active duty, why are you so concerned about these high school kids? I also served, and I couldn’t have cared less about these JROTC students. These are kids, and some of them do it for fun, for extracurricular activities, to make friends, whatever the case. Let them be, and focus on your own drill perhaps.

These are just kids. Their knowledge is good though. Not one of them had their feet at a proper 45° angle but they're smart enough to learn that in basic or ocs. The rest just depends on how much they can embrace the suck.

Focus more on fitness. DI’s will teach you how to fix your salutes and uniforms. Nobody is going to care if you know your general orders if you can’t max out a PFT. Anyone can play dress up and remember some lines. All this prep is for nothing if you can’t even make height and weight. At the end of boot everyone will know their general orders, how to march, how to salute, etc. Few will have a 300pft. You want to prepare and stand out? Crush yourself in the gym, on the track, and don’t stop. Nobody respects a leader who can’t lead the from the front.

Most cadets didn’t end up joining the military

Well not really. The DI will correct the fitness as well. I came in at 168 and dropped down to 115 lbs of weight. Weight wont be an issue

300 PFT is hard to get for people even in the best shape. I don’t know how it is now, but you had to run 3 miles and under 18 minutes to do it.

If you somehow make it to boot as a fat. Your life is going to suck more than everyone else who’s not. Wearing double stripes on all your skivies like a holocaust victim. I agree you focus way more on physical fitness.

“Who was the first female marine?” 🥱
@davidwarner33264 ай бұрын
Naw, that's not important. Who cares about Marine Corps history? Should they have asked who the first man to enlist in the Marines was? 1918...that's a long f'ing time after 1775, but what does it matter? The reason they tell us all Marines are green is for idiots like yourself.
