@@josebarrozo7620 Yes, but I feel like it's underrated in a way that when people think of a masterpiece rock album, Wasting Light never come up in the list. And usually foo fans think The Colour And The Shape is their best, but to me Wasting Light is even better

I agree. It's front to back their best and most consistently good album in my opinion even of Colour And The Shape might have those 2 or 3 absolute all time classic songs that are maybe better than any song on Wasting Light.

I was sad about his death as well, but lots have met, or exceeded his dedication. You don’t think that music will cease to be played just because Taylor Hawkins died do you? He inspired a whole new generation and the cycle will continue to turn over. We all owe a death. It’s how you act and what you leave behind that matters.

***** No problem. If you mean the citation is only from a book, there's also this: www.beatlesbible.com/songs/while-my-guitar-gently-weeps/. If you're saying he's not in the liner notes, then yeah it is strange they don't mention him, but it is discussed in the recording notes of the 2009 remaster: aln2.albumlinernotes.com/The_White_Album__2009_.html.

The point is it was of the Beatles, being that it was from a Beatles song. There was a definite intentional homage to the Beatles here by Foo Fighters. I'm sure you've noticed. Theyre all dressed in suits and ties, the performance is shot in black and white, the Foo Fighters logo on Hawkins drum kit is done in the font and style of the Beatles logo, etc. - and theyre playing on stage at the Ed Sullivan Theater, which is where the Beatles (then it was called Hammerstein Theater) first played in the U.S. on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964.
