"DAVE'S SUPER FUCKING RAD ROCK & ROLL CLUB." And birthday party. 😁 Great concert. The fact that there was a revolving stage was awesome. Everyone got a frontal view of the band. There were numerous other guests, like Perry Farrell of Jane's Addiction, David Lee Roth, Alice Cooper, Zakk Wylde, and Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews (who I remember played and sustained the longest note I've heard played on a trombone 😁 ). And to top it all off, ending with the late, great Lemmy. As I recall, the show ended after midnight.

THIS ROCKS!! I saw Queen back in the late 70s when I was a kid and pretty much hated it with TWO EXCEPTIONS. Tie Your Mother Down rocked, and they TOTALLY RE-WORKED WE WILL ROCK YOU. They opened with it & turned it into a freaking supercharged metal romp instead of the already worn out stomping clapping deal LOL!

Yes. Yes he can. All of the original guns records (I mean the 4 real guns records while Izzy was there, not Axl Pose's hacks disguised as GnR) had slide guitar parts on it. They probably called him that night and asked him if he wanted to come down. It was in LA after all. I can't imagine alot of people carry a slide on them as a rule.

When I watch the FOOs, supposedly representing what is left of the rock and roll world, I realize how pathetic the musical landscape has become...All the great original bands are dying off, or morphing into tribute bands with few or no original members. What we are left with are Grohl and his FOOs, essentially a mediocre garage band, that are touted as the world's greatest rock band, worthy of headlining the world's largest arenas and stadiums...I am sorry...but I am not buying it...They would be fine at a backyard keg party, but that is about it...Grohl is a nice guy but his need for attention borders on pathological...

+Rockin' Vida Are you trolling, or are you serious. The Foo Fighters are a damn good band any way you slice it. Yea, some of collaborations do get a little old. But their originals hold up against anyone out there. They have some truly great songs on every album they have put out. I am not even mentioning the amount of talent in that band. I mean Taylor truly is one of the better drummers going today. There isn't really anything that he cant play. If they aren't your cup of tea that's fine, but to call them a garage band is just a little ridiculous to me. Just my humble opinion. Take care and peace!

No, you have it all wrong...I don't hate this band...they have many good songs and Taylor is a slammin' drummer...I am just sayin' that compared to the classic rock days of bands like Zeppelin, the Who, etc,, that for a band like the Foos to be the number one band in the world, shows you how far the whole thing has fallen...I think they are a good band, but far from a great band.
