Man, look at Taylor Hawkins, having the time of his life you can see it in that smile he took everywhere he went

Zac Brown is a country artist. And he pulled that first line off like a god. Well done.
@AverageKingBooEnjoyer4 ай бұрын
Even people who hate country music can respect what Zac brings to the table. I should know, I hate country music, but I have been in love with the Zac Brown Band forever because they don’t just do country, they’ve dived into rock music as well, not just with Dave and Foo Fighters, but with Chris Cornell on the song Heavy is the Head.

Had to watch this again today. Shocking news this morning. Inspirational to watch Taylor. If you ever have a chance to see the Foo cover Young Man Blues at the VH1 Awards honoring The Who from 2006, watch it. Seeing Taylor watching Dave for his queues to Keith-Moon-the-daylights out of the drums was awesome. Gonna miss him.

Once again, let it go people, it's a good cover, it's not Sabbath, get over yourselves already. The perpetual grin on Pat's face tells the story, they are having a blast covering a band that would be at the top of their list of influences. Ben Sheppard from Soundgarden said it best.. everything we've learned we learned fro Black Sabbath.

I've just watched a few War Pigs videos just now, trying to recapture what I experienced in 1981. FF with Zac Brown is one of the best. ..... but .... Let me tell you my WAR PIGS story..... hahaha!! USAF 1981 during the Cold War. Bitburg GE Practicing for war --- We HAD TO BE Ready for WAR It was our JOB. -- our F-15's were 5 minutes Air Time from the Soviet Union.... and every time our Alert birds launched they thought it was for real.... We worked HARD and PLAYED HARD. After a Night Shift we got back to our dorms everyone called the Animal House. Maintenance Troops ... Regular working people. we started partying as you do.... drinks , smokes, etc... and we had INCREDIBLE (tax free) KICK ASS Stereo systems. On this morning we were in my room partying with a 300 Watt Phase Linear Amp pumping through BOSE 901's and trying to crack the walls with sound ..... It was a NATO WAR exercise PRACTICING for WAR and as we opened the windows of our 4th floor Penthouse with WAR PIGS CRANKED we could view the whole base and the WAR being played out before us. Different colored smoke set off on the ground to imitate Ordinance dropped by enemy A/C meant Chemicals or HE (High Explosive) We watched Belgian F-104's strafe the base at rooftop level just below the speed of sound and as the plumes of exercise smoke exploded on the ground and we sang WAR PIGS .... we almost felt like we were on stage..... I've never seen a video as good as my memory of that party.... so ... what's the moral of the story? You've got to be on stage to live life !! ....and there's all kinds of stages 8- )
