I watch for those pork loins to be marked down, then I buy them. I wash them really good to take a lot of the seasoning away before cooking them. Opening that box was like having Christmas early.

Tessie, your knife skills are perfect…you can cut up food to keep your family full and happy and still have all your fingers. Anything more than that is being fancy. 😉 I create food from odds and ends too. Some days it’s better than others. But in the end, I’m not hungry and that’s the real point. I love the way you take something you don’t use much and just use it right up!

Loved the daily bread. We read one every night at the dinner table before we ate our meal and it was my favorite thing to do when out of four children it was my turn to pick and read the verse! When I began having children I bought one for my kids to read before dinner too. I get great satisfaction watching you open packages from your subscriber friends. They are truly sweet and I really like the things they send to you, just perfect!

Hi Tessie, I have a tip for you and all the other viewers. When cutting carrots I cut off the tip and leave the leaf end on so I have something to hold onto to keep from fighting that last inch then just toss the end piece. Thanks for another video. Keep them coming.

Your pork loin will be so good the way you're fixing it. We've fixed it that way, but ours wasn't pre spiced. We usually get at least two meals out of it, and often three. I'm so glad you are blessed with it.

Soup. Stews, casseroles, tacos, enchiladies, the list is unlimited. Just toss in pot. Add broth or water. Add seasonings. Add veggies. Add noodles, rice, quinoa, amaranth, etc. God bless.

I haul food… sometimes a box will get crushed and rejected even if the meat isn’t compromised the state/fda requires it be dumped…we give it to food banks if a large mount if just a couple box’s company tells us to trash it so we can grab another load…I refuse to trash anything so I will hit a truck stop go inside and get employees to come grab what I need to get rid of …one truck stop had some bikers I told them please get these 2 40lbs box’s of chicken breast the people in truck stop wouldn’t take it but those bikers had no issue and said their wives will make use of it. This never happens when I am heading home 🥴 such is my luck

I’ve bought seasoned pork loin by mistake before and I just rinsed it off in the sink. It pretty much rinsed off all the seasoning I didn’t like. I LOVE pork with cabbage, carrots, and potatoes. Served with cornbread and I’m happy. I say that all the time. I’m just a plain country cook.

I have to utilize the food pantry twice a month . I am so thankful for our food bank :) ours just made it so we can shop and pick our own groceries its really nice :) the produce isnt so good sometimes but if you use it that day or the next its fine :) waste not want not :)

I've gotten a couple of those from someone that didn't eat tenderloin so I cut them into chunks and canned it up in pint jars. 😊😋 Oh and if my friends give me the leftover split pea soup tomorrow that her mom made, I'm gonna be canning that up too. I used to get the our daily bread book book actually a little paper booklet. I think they still make them but I think they charge you for them now they used to be free. It was a little daily devotional that they used to send every month.

We got some of those pork loin on sale at Aldi. They were small, but they had "save $2" stickers, so they were practically free! I'm putting them in the meal plan.

baked pork tenderloin, no matter how it is spiced, can be cooled and sliced thinly to use like lunchmeat. Umm, mmm, good! Another way to use it is to slice it raw about 1/2 inch thick, place it between 2 pieces of plastic wrap and pound until it becomes quite thin. It can then be breaded for schnitzel and fried up in a wink! It can also be quick fried plain in oil or butter. Make a roux with the drippings, add a little lemon juice, then any liquid for a great gravy. If you cook it quickly, pork tenderloin remains tender, juicy and tasty!

Thank you Sarah. Yes, unfortunately, I have been dealing with this for many years and I have researched and reached out. Though it looks like he'll need to be willing to seek some help and sometimes I think he might, but then... Nothing. We have discussed it on his calmer days. I do believe he is struggling with mania and narcissistic traits at the very least. Lord, do I love him though.

That is amazing! Not many of our local community don't do it much use to get a lot from grocery stores but with covid they throw it out and we see dumpster divers take it early in the morning the workers seen the regulars and don't say anything. We live in a small town so if you need food you go to the bigger food banks or at our Farmers Market you can get fresh veggies and fruits and day old breads for a few dollars which is still good food . thanks for sharing this video!!! What I learned from some ladies at my food Bank is on Spicey meats they prince them under running water takes about 80% will wash off. On can goods not low on salt you can rinse water through them and get rid of some salt.
