Good luck, I've been praying for your stomach issues. Oddly, I'm only eating french fries this week, it's the one thing I never seem to take issue with. I saw something called Prelief that's supposed to be just calcium and phosphorous you take with a meal which is supposed to reduce 95% of the acid or something like that. I thought I might give it a try when I get desperate for real food. Hope your hamburger works out, if not at least you can enjoy the excitement of the preparation.😁

Thank you for your prayers, Karen. I could make French fries in the oven or air fryer. I hope the Prelief is helpful for you. My calcium is high, so my doctor told me not to take any additional calcium. I haven't been this excited about a hamburger in a long time!! Anticipation is HIGH!

Hi Helen. I hope your tummy and the hamburger get along. Do you take Prilosec? I had to start taking it for my heartburn and gerd and what a difference it made. What is rotello dip??

No, I don't take Prilosec. My gastro doctor gave me a prescription for pantoprazole. The script ran out, and I want to avoid making an office visit to get a refill. My internist gave me a prescription for famotidine that I day every morning. It only does a little. I also have a small hiatal hernia and one of those diverticulosis or diverticulitis things going on. I'm tired of having to take some script for what ails me. Rotel Dip: 2 lb Velveeta, 2 cans of Rotel (canned diced tomatoes with jalapenos), 1 teaspoon each of ground cumin, garlic powder, and onion powder). Mix in a blender until smooth (adding a little water if it's too thick). You can heat it or eat it at room temperature. Also, you can make a smaller batch using 1 lb Velveeta and 1 can of Rotel. It's a great dip with corn tortilla chips.

@ thank you so much for the recipe. I’m going to try it. Ya you can get Prilosec over the counter now but understand if you want to avoid it if possible. But diverticulitis is another major ailment to deal with. My brother in law has that and has to be very careful what he eats.

@@lifewithpatti9531 You're welcome for the recipe, Patti. I hope you'll like it. Yes, the diverticulitis could be a problem. My father-in-law had this or the other one. He couldn't eat nuts and seeds. I'll keep an out for symptoms.
