Thanks for the tips Jaya....keeping water handy in a jug before starting the day's work in kitchen is a good idea. Soaking rice and lentils is a common practice in India I think, but I wasn't aware of the scientific added benefit of it, so thanks for sharing that too. You've got a bright and clean kitchen. 👍🙂 .....and yeah...when life gives u lemons follow Jaya's tips, store the juice and enjoy the lemonade. 😁 Lovely Video( as usual) .

Very happy to see a young lady so organised. I'm 66 and have been doing most of what you showed us. Using rags instead of paper towels is a great idea because I don't like using paper, either. I had seen the stainless steel pan tip, too, some time back but never tried it. I will, soon. Thank you!

I liked all your tips except the one on squeezing and storing lemon juice in advance. While this may save time, the vitamin c evaporates and reduces so in that sense it is a loss in terms of nutrients. Other than that, I liked your ideas, particularly the one about the small cloth wipes and storing them in a jar, and the one about keeping a jar of water handy for cooking. Great collection. Keep up the good work! All the best.

Awesome as always!!!! I also prefer to use the old t-shirt pieces to clean up the counter top instead of tissue paper. Even avoid a use of Disposable (paper) plates, glasses etc to save trees. I am using a small polythene under a bowl for kitchen waste like chai patti, skin of vegetables and tie a note to prevent odour from dustbin.

In fridge, while kept in a container (not juice, the whole lemon) it will last more than two weeks (if fresh) and in freezer , stored in ice tray ( juice), I read that it should last for 3-4 months. Please use your discretion.

All very good tips! I wid like to ask u if the lemon juice doesn't turn bitter when stored? Because a cut lemon stored in the fridge overnight turns unbearably bitter next day. This is my experience, so I usually try not to save cut lemon but use it immediately after cutting. Also the lemon rind has multiple uses, to get rid of any smell plus stains on hands as well as putting in the cooker for cleaning it of stains
@manishaashar10793 жыл бұрын
Also the vitamin C fron the lemon gets oxidized when stored in the juice form.
