I'm on my way to veganism I have 1 type of cheese and fish to cut out. I watch a lot of these videos but most of them are American people with American products so I really appreciate videos like these with Uk products 😋 💕 love the video!

Omg I love breakfast! I often eat oatmeal with different fruits, nuts, berries and plant based milk. its so easy and cheap and easy to change toppings if you get bored :) Sometimes i est fruitsallad with nuts, any plant milk and they cereals :) Also very easy to make and easy to vary just like the oatmeal :) Great video! I always look forward to when you upload! :) :) :)
@KieraRose7 жыл бұрын
You know what, I love oatmeal but I always ruin it. How do you cook it?! I feel like it should be so easy but I manage to make it this terrible consistency every time 😭
@nataloe13377 жыл бұрын
Kiera Rose I always make 1dl of oatmeal and then 2,5dl of water with alittle salt. If you have it on the stove for longer it will be more firm so i guess its the time on the stove that mostly decide the consistency. You can also use plantmilk instead of water but i perfer to add it later when its done. So i have like a firm blob of oatmeal, lol, and then add plankmilk over it. I add alot of fruis for some sweetness but you can add a little sugar aswell while its cooking to make it more sweet. Cinnamon is also great for oatmeal! Yum!
@SuzaWuza7 жыл бұрын
Ive had oatmeal every day for five years xD I find it easiest to cook it very slowly till you get used to it, adding half milk half water

i used to ruin it too until i started only using the microwave - i know some vegans get het up about using a microwave , but if it gives you bomb porridge , i'm gonna do it ;) i do around 70 - 80g of porridge and around 200 - 250ml of mylk , but i don't measure so i'm not 100% sure. i warm it up for 3 minutes with a banana mixed in , take it out and add grapes + a plum and maybe a bit more mylk , and then cook for another 3 minutes - but my microwave is only 120 watt ;)

Fab video x shows that there is already such a great choice of "accidental" vegan foods out there - ready made, fast food, ingredients.. Tescos actually has a document/PDF online of vegan foods in their stores and it's enlightening. That, along with the vegan society list of accidental vegan foods, show even more choice! No need to go without really!

For breakfast, I like peanut butter on (untoasted) seed/wholewheat bread, topped with apples (and/or bananas), cinnamon, dried cranberries, almonds, and a drizzle of agave or berry or maple syprup. It tastes similar to French toast, only without the egg-milk batter. Alternatively, I have all of that, but with hot oats (with soya milk) instead of bread. Sooo much yummm !!

Waw England has so many more vegan options that here in the Netherlands. Here its gotten better over time but I wonder why isnt not so common. A supermarket manager once told me that demand isnt as high here which I find hard to believe as Ive met quite a few people who struggle finding yummy vegan foods. Well guess I will have to wait it out :)
@Jasminiumusic7 жыл бұрын
yeah I also live in NL and the vegan part is so small..
@honeybeebumbleful7 жыл бұрын
This is only very recently thing there has been a huge influx of vegan options from vegetarian companies such as Quorn and Linda Mcartney in the last year. With supermarkets improving and extending there free from ranges. Which can only show that the demand is there!

Oh my gosh I completely agree. I used to live in Britain and since moving out to the Netherlands, whilst there's a lot more vegetarian/vegan fake meat options, there's basically nothing else. Saying that, I live waay up North and it seems down South there's more choice with specialist supermarkets.
@Bruhhfsfs7 жыл бұрын
•Twinkle~Lady• hey I live in NL also and there are some good options here still. Recommend the vegan cheese from Jumbo! The rest I mostly get from AH, I eat a lot of accidentally vegan foods. For specialty foods I go to organic supermarkets like salty organic or ecoplaza.
