I mean i once had an idea of a alchemist who used their chemicals to inrich their food but I'm sure that a lot of people already had that idea which is why i thought that using the goblin race to add a little spice to the concept (LOL i used the word spice in a video regarding food)

I liked the animated images in this video. As to your food. Perhaps the perfectly harmless food one Race offers another is sickening or toxic to another. Then your glow berries affect different Races differently. Then there are the different sorts of mushrooms with different affects. Illegal drugs and so on... "Oh look...these peppers can be used to make dust of sneezing and choking...." Odd...look, the sneezing peppers act differently on the werewolves. It calms them down and makes them revert to human..."
