Always good to have at least 2 to 3 weeks of supplies on end because not every home will be hit during the flood or a tornado and you’ll have supplies to take care of yourself plus maybe supplies that you can donate

This is lovely. That ham lasts for a long, long time. I got some in the lockdown and it is *still in date*. Great job on stocking up for sure. I think this is my first visit here. I enjoyed watching. I keep a stock up as well and I love watching others to see what I need to include that may have been forgotten on my part.

The canned chicken is great with saucy meals and chicken salad sandwiches. Grab some great value canned beef. Excellent for tacos and stews. The cooked ham by itself is ok however pair it with some northern beans and your spiced it’s so good and savory. Great haul! God bless!

Have you tried keystone canned ground beef, chicken, turkey, shredded beef or pork? The meat is 100%, and lasts about 25 years. Only 2 ingredients.

Hello Lisa, how are you doing? It is hurricane season so making sure that we have canned vegetables and meat is number one on our to-do list. The canned chicken breast is my favorite. I like to add onions, garlic, bell peppers, celery and sometimes a diced apple to it. I also like to add Kraft Sandwich Spread mixed with a little mustard, season to taste, tfs🙂💜.

Try your ramen with bits of broccoli, baby carrots "chunked" into pea size shapes. I've also have added bits of chicken. I only use a smidgen of the seasoning package and store the rest of the packs in a baggie and will use these to season water with that I cook rice or noodles in.

Subscribed For more fun and you seem friendly I think we could be sisters ( except for miracle whip, I have to have real mayo) I buy almost the same brands, Great Balue egg noodles, Busch’s Baked Beans, canned spinach and beans, dried Beans, canned corned beef and chicken, Jiffy Corn Bread, dried fruit, Krusteaz mixes. You will like the canned chicken, It makes great chicken salad, chicken and noodles or casseroles with pasta and veggies. And then canned mushroom, Prego Alfredo sauce and now I am certain we are related! I am 61 and live in Ohio. We mostly eat small amounts of meat, along with fresh fruits and veggies and beans. It snows where we are so we always have food Stashed In the pantry

Between now and Christmas (and for both Christmas and the first week of January ) buy an extra 2-3 items a week. And, if possible, freeze some bread; maybe milk, too.

Look in Mexican aisle or Spanish speaking stores or American Indian stores Indian corn in white is what your looking for. Mexican brand has a white corn bread flour mix ( I ran accrost it in gluten free cooking) it might take some time to find it don't remember brand name but it sold online .

How do you fix yams?
@TheLisa3393 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching They are very easy to fix open. The can drain the liquid. Add a little butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla flavoring. Let it cook down. But I will prefer the yam sweet potatoes over the can, but in a pantry situation we have to do what we have to do. God bless you.
