Great video! I need to go back; I spent an entire day only exploring the mall and fountains and Burj Khalifa area, and that wasn’t even remotely enough time. I ate at Al Baik and had to try some Arabian McDonald’s.

Corporate should be the same.. Prices seem about right or the same in the US. Its mostly local food which you may get a lot cheaper or not depending on how poor or rich the area is.

As a UK citizen, I thought donner kebab was made with lamb yet those sold in the food court are all made with a mix of chicken and beef. Is this a cultural thing or is there some other reson for the difference? Other than that, the foods on offer looked to be of a much better quality than I see in UK shops and of comparable prices. That was surprising.

people prefer the doner kebab with chicken/beef. in dubai lamb is mostly eaten with rice not as a wrap

Dubai is dirt cheap and have so much options just go out side the malls and flavour and curry and shawarma and burgers and pizza all below $2 usd . $1 usd can get you a milk/ tea with and egg sandwich wrapped and baked bread fresh and so fulfilling. You can buy a whole bbq chicken for $4 usd and it comes with fries and bread etc. This country is paradise , screw the pancakes and screw the west

After lunch and in the evening, there are a lot of people. There are not many places in Dubai where you can eat relatively inexpensively, the food court in shopping malls is one of such places.
