Wow, thank you! I’ve been having a hard time finding cream that does not have carrageenan added to it. I am allergic to all types of seafood, including seaweed. This has become such a common additive! I would like to start making my own sour cream and crème fraiche and you just helped me find the perfect cream (which can be found at 3 stores near me). You might want to check out the gamma lids for your 5 pound buckets so much easier than taking the lids off and on😊

Could you use kelp granules in smoothies? Wasn't sure if it had a strong taste. What do you do with nutritional yeast??

I would say probably not in smoothies. It has an “under water” taste but blends pretty well into savory foods. Nutritional yeast has a cheesy-like flavor so it’s a great topping for salads. I most commonly make “cheesy” sourdough crackers with it.

I recently tried dehydrating ground beef. The texture and flavor was more like what we were used to. We use in sauces/soup. Not sure if there are nutrition differences between canned vs dehydrated beef.
