Hi 🤍 For me personally, 1. Independent study in advance Before my class and use online resource to clarify any doubts and confusion I had on the materials so I can understand easily what the lecturers are explaining at that time. 2. If available, find animations in KZbin explaining about your topic of study It's easier to understand visually. 3. Always befriend your peers and lecturers You can try asking them on what you're confused of and discuss the answers. 4. Learn step by step Looking at the topic overview may discouraged you in the beginning due to its amount BUT just try to dissect it into bits by bits to ease your learning. Slowly but surely, you will understand but only if you start studying! 5. Make study schedule Arrange what modules you'll be studying on each day. For example, Monday - Chemistry Tuesday - Cell Bio Wed - Rest day Thurs - Microbio, Chemistry Fri - Cell Bio Sat & Sun - Whatever your heart desires! Don't be too hard on yourself but don't also be too lenient! 🥰 It's challenging and yet rewarding at the same time if food science is truly what you're passionate of learning 🤍 Goodluck!

I personally think it’s possible since you have completed the requirements (bg in food science) to apply master in food science and tech, BUT I recommend asking your program director for advice since they’ll definitely have more knowledge in this ☺️

Hi!! I’d say it’s a challenge at first but you’ll start to adapt and slowly enjoy the independence you gain haha 😆You’ll make new friends as well as explore new places! Don’t worry 🖤 You’ll need to prepare your personal documents, finances, have emergency contacts (nearest hospital,etc), get to know the maps of your accommodations & campus, as well as prepare your stuff in advance! Bring only the important stuff and just buy the rest (kitchenware, etc) later!

Hello~ Based on the advice and experience from my lectures and coworkers, majority suggested to go straight into working after taking your bachelors since experience is highly sought after when applying for job in the food industry. However, if you want to pursue a more specific and niche job then it’s recommended to do masters (e.g you want to be a lecturer in uni/want to be a researcher). However, do consult with your seniors, lecturers, and peers first! 🙌🏻 and research, research, research!
