You can grow these. I grow mine inside and there just fine. The plants gets less tasty after a while but I don’t think these thrive in the heat. I have mine on my kitchen counter no direct sun light.

Regrowing food scraps probably only works with specific varieties that you grow yourself in a garden and replant after consuming. I know a lot of grocery store produce gets sprayed with an anti-growing agent so you don’t get things like sprouted potatoes, garlic, etc growing on the shelves.

Start your green onions inside in a cup of water and let them root first , your first couple sprouts of onions will die but if keep up with banana water or organic matter like compost they regrow they just need time. Don’t give up on your green onions just yet! Also you can grow green onions during hotter seasons just keep them shaded at least partially

You can regrow them as long as they’re not GMO I regrew mine in potters in the house. They were kind of temperamental with the temperatures, but they did regrow.

You can regrow lettuce and green onion scrapes, usually you’d wait for cooler weather to grow these cool season crops.

You can definitely grow from scraps I grew all of my green onion from store bottoms they are doing well also took some collard green stems placed it in water by a window seems to be growing new leaves. I literally took a molded strawberry and put it in my terrarium to decompose and it grew a strawberry seedling! Mother nature is a beauty 😊 good luck don’t give up!

I regrow green onions from store. My neighbor saves food scraps for my chickens and i regrow what i can and give them back as live plants. Its about condition of growing conditions. Green onions fror scraps enjoy alot of shade that I've noticed.
