I live on an acre and a half and I am working to grow at least the majority of my own food and have some to sell. I am using hand tools and improving the soil. I live in the US

One of my favourite things to do with my family is to go to places called pick your own. You pick the fruit and veg from the plants its a good day out, tastes waaay better and supports the local farm 🚜

Farmers markets is direct!!! Try to determine if you are eating whole foods, or processed food which are put in pretty packages and sold as food! It’s really simple though, you have to put effort into your health don’t believe that what you buy in boxes has your best health in mind- only you do!!!

Does laboratory grown meat threaten food sovereignty? Especially when it comes to farmers.

Vegan diet is the more environmental friendly, more ethical.

But can you guarantee this statement there have been many investigative pieces displaying the fact that alot of vegan and vegetarian products are not nearly as ethical as they claim

There is nothing fundamentally wrong with eating meat. The problems arise when we are talking about the means by which it is produced to provide the prices that we have. Which leads to way too many animals being raised for the (figurative and literal) meat grinder. I started eating vegetarian last summer and actually had problems getting my smoked tofu at times as the months went on. And now my stores always have enough.

Is it morally permissible to kill animals for food that we don't need to eat? Does intelligence define worth of life? If soya farming is destructive for the environment and over 85% of the soya grown is fed to livestock animals, would it not therefore be more sustainable to feed humans with that soy?
