Have you come across much vegan options in food markets or street food stalls so far? I know there are western type cafes and restaurants but I will be on a tight budget also without much access to kitchens I imagine! Best of luck with your travels

Tofu is quite popular here. It's always tricky to know exactly what is in a dish because they're likely to throw pigs ear into a 'tofu salad' or something like that 😆 But everyone is very helpful and accommodating to dietary requirements. I would recommend learning some essential thai phrases before you come. And be prepared for a lot of vegetable pad that's! 😆
