First time I saw SPAR was on my trip to Vienna, Austria. The Karachi store looks more well stocked than Vienna store . Also the meat section in Austria was useless for me as they do not sell HALAL meat. Hope SPAR opens more stores in Pakistan. Seemi from US.

Saima the one other way you can keep the cilantro fresh for a couple of weeks in the refrigerator is by keeping it in a jar 🫙 full of cold water. The stems stay in water and the leaves sticks out. It remains awesomely fresh and crunchy. You may change the water once in the middle.

I’m very surprised that this shop is so well stocked and clean I live in the uk and our Asian grocery stores are poorly kept but also I’ve worked in a grocery store and this one is way way cleaner but I’m sure it’s way more expensive to buy like this is it not cheaper to buy from the stalls outside for fresh veg

we don't mind paying a slight premium for piece of mind that we are getting meat from healthy animals and vegetables properly sorted A grade. Yes all imported items will be more expensive than local but the main problem is availability.
