I never cared about my hometown either, was bullied all my time there, always wanted to leave. *Present:* I am now 32 years old and decided it was time to start doing something worth my life. I had left my abusive ex of 8 years. The relationship was so bad, I ballooned up to 256lbs (116kg) during that time. This was from emotional stress, binge eating and alcohol abuse as a form of coping mechanism. Purely from how I felt physically, I knew I wasn't gonna be able to go anywhere, I felt dizzy all the time and had brain fog from being blitzed all day. Honestly have no idea how I managed to keep my job. Covid only made it worse, cause we started working from home. First thing was to ditch alcohol. It took me about 5 months to get sober and I lost around 22lbs (10kg) just from doing that. This was between August and December last year and I left my ex just before Christmas. Started traveling in March this year. I go somewhere abroad once approx. every 2 months (only Europe countries and short flights for now). In March I weighted 234lbs (106kg) and took my first ever flight. It was so embarrassing to realize I had to squeeze my way in between the seats on a plane. It was a struggle to get through the gates in the subway! I was same as her in this video! Red in my face, sweaty, huffing and puffing from dragging my suitcase through public transport, nobody helping me, people staring. I was exhausted just from walking everywhere! Fast forward another 5 months. I'm down another 18lbs (8kg). I now weigh 216lbs (98kg), joined a gym, got a fitness coach, fixed my diet. I'm actively losing weight. I have now traveled to 4 different countries since March. This weekend I did a double festival trip with 2 days in Paris and 2 days in Madrid with barely any sleep, cause I had to catch a flight in between. At this point, there was barely any struggle. I've never been more physically active and mentally content in my life. Not even at a smaller size. I've got the rest of the year planned for more travels. I'm also spending December holidays with my parents in my home country, which is going to be the best ending to a very fruitful year. The most awesome thing about all of this, is that I got a boyfriend! It's the most healthy relationship I've ever been in. He takes me on most creative dates! I can't believe the level of communication between us! He also goes to the gym, he takes really good care of himself. And starting next year, he wants to start travelling with me! I did all of this without needing a man who won't even touch me. A boyfriend who is so deeply and visibly in love with me came after, as a reward to my ongoing healing. And giiirl, you betcha I'm getting allll that vitamin D, every day, if you know what I mean, hahaaa! What do you think? Am I actually doing all the things Chantal just keeps talking about?

She just doesn't have the character strength; she's hard-wired to always take the easier road. Speaking of Madrid - about a year before Covid hit I was in Madrid a few days for some work meetings. After a dinner one night my Spanish colleague gave me a ride back to my hotel on the back of his motorbike. It's a memory I love, zipping thru the streets of a quiet Madrid at midnight. Tbh I think he expected an invite up to my room for...you know...but all he got was a thanks and goodnight lol!

You are going to judge the entire Middle East paysage over one beach ? People are really incredible. Go google the beaches of Dubai, Oman or even qatar. I know Americans find this crazy since they kept bitching about it in marseille but… loads of beaches are kept savage . On purpose, especially this one since it’s in the district where all the refineries and the usines are based. Who is going to make a beach accessible in this area, when t miles down the road there’s one that is maintained?! I doubt tourists think mmmmh I’d live to swim while inhaling the fumes of that refinery nearby. You think that the Florida keys came like this from the get go ??! You might want to look at historical pictures of it before it became USA number one destination for beach goers. You are bound to find either volcanic rocks or continental rocks.. you know how the tectonic plates and all that.. you will find loads of these in between 2 continents like the Middle East which is derivating from the African plate to which it was attached to. Like ok you hate Chantal and all she touches, but judging one of the most diverse region of the world based on a shot in a blog is mind blowing to me. It would be like a non westerner judging Canada, their morals , their beliefs and traditions by watching Chantal and basing their opinions of these subject strictly on her behavior . Or same for Alr . If you can’t see the absurdity of it all well..

There may be nice places in the Middle East but this is certainly not one of them. And she wasn’t referring to the Keys she mentioned Clearwater, which is on the Gulf of Mexico. Florida has beautiful beaches all over the state. Some are popular tourist destinations and many more are parks and wildlife areas. Not sure what your point is about that. Dude my parents have been married for 43 years and he still kisses her cheek and hand every time one of them comes from outside. In front of us kids, or company, he never forgets to kiss her. And the first thing he says, when coming from outside , after saying hi to me is : where’s your mom? Did she eat anything? When did she leave ? If she has to go out for a long time he will make himself a small sandwich or salad just to stop the hunger, to wait for my mom so they can eat together . My dad won’t eat unless my mom is here at the table with him When they go out if my mom forgets to hook her arm on my dad’s , he takes her arm and hook it to his, and asks her if she doesn’t love him anymore jokingly Lol He wakes up earlier than her , and he always fuel up a giant thermos of Moroccan tea. He went to buy another thermos because he was outraged that my mom, who drinks ish scalding hot, had to microwave her tea 19 seconds because the thermos wasn’t insulated enough. When we have guests, he tells my mom to go sit down and he will do the finishing touches. Nobody dresses the table but him, he is the king of decoration 😂 And OMG if one goes to vacation back home without the other , the atmosphere at home is so sorrowful, you would think someone died (god forbid ) The only times they really argue is when my mom wants to leave for 8 weeks or more, and my dad gives her a headache by non stop telling her that it’s too long, and he is trying to negotiate like the price is right I could go on for days, and mind you both my parents are born and raised in North Africa in the fourties’ and sixties , it wasn’t like now where borders are almost non existent and everyone has adopted cultures and traditions from everywhere. She wants me to believe that Salah is bold enough to send his s3x pictures to his friends, have s3x outside marriage, bring a girl in his pad while family live all around, when he could’ve been in big trouble, and go to jail…but he won’t kiss or hug his wife because of respect, when it’s not only halal, it’s actually mandated by the religion for men to show tenderness and gratitude towards their wife and be humbled by everything she does for their household A Hadith; A man came to the prophet Mohammed pbuh and asked him who were the inhabitants of paradise, the prophet answered a lot of things ( animals, goodness to others , treating children equally etc) but the first ones where : the ones who love , please and play with their wives, the ones who have gentle attentions towards them, gratitude and humility . Salah is not a practicing Muslim but it’s ok, so is his meal ticket

It seems now a days people just leave their marriage and family if they don't feel the same after ten years. Well of course not! You grow and you change and your love changes. I hope you are wonderful to your partner. Oh, she can't just jump into a shower. Bc they dont have cold water. Only hot and scalding. In kuwait, most buildings store water in huge tanks on the roof. Like hotels in the US. It helps with maintaining pressure and alleviates spikes in use that strain the ridiculous kuwait water system. But all that water in a metal rank on the roof in the desert gets hot af. In many places, the scalding hot water goes to turned off hot water heaters so it can cool down for a few hours. So, in the summer, the water from the hot faucet is hot and the water from the cold faucet is scorching. Some people fill their bathtubs at night so they can have cool, room temperature water the next morning for bathing and washing clothes and cleaning and stuff. Some buildings install water cooling tanks, but we know Chantals doesnt bc a few months ago she mentioned how they dont really have cold water anymore. And that was before summer even started. So with as tiny as their bathtub is, do we think Chantal is taking 120° showers or is she sponge bathing whatever she can reach?

You're right! She did say that about the water tanks on the roof and not being able to shower during the day. She is probably hospitalized right now. If you can't cool your core temperature IMMEDIATELY when experiencing heat stroke, the outcome can be extremely dire... even for healthy people.

That YT allows that she triggers and endangers countless people who have/suffer from *diagnosed* (not patient mentioned during a doctors visit that patient suspects/self-diagnoses a BED) eating disorders by binging/monetized, live on camera says everything about their own ignorance and hypocrisy as I have seen them being "anal" in striking other content creators much quicker, for violation of TOS. The beach video - she's forcing that smile on her face but she's miserable. She's scared to annoy Salah by complaining about the heat too much but he has to be more understanding. She's in no way used to this. It's hard to believe she made this potentially exciting move to Kuwait, some would say brave, the life-changing possibilities - and all she's achieved is sit inside all day, eat constantly and actually grow BIGGER!! I do not think there’re anything at all exciting to be living in a country where the searing year round heat is not the only oppressive aspect. People have been asking her why couldn’t she and salad holiday in Canada for the summer but she’s adamantly sticking to her story that she couldn’t be happier and the heat doesn’t really affect you because everywhere there is air conditioning. It could be she’s doing it to avoid taxes but her YT account is tied to her bank in Canada and unless there are provisions to change banks she’s still having to pay taxes on her YT earnings as well as whatever back taxes she owes.
