I have the same stance with cops. As an adult, I only have neutral or positive experiences with cops when I’m interacting with them in a *professional* capacity. So when the power dynamic is more balanced and they need me for something. Anything else and 9/10 they will escalate the situation in some way. Idk if the experience would be different with 2 female cops. And I’m not anti police. I just think there needs to be a lot of reforms in terms of training, delegation of responsibilities, and abuse of power.
