The problem is that "plus size" encompasses a range of sizes from XX (size 12 US) to 6X (size 36 US). Just because a country's population is "obese" doesn't mean super morbidly obese, and I would bet most physical stores don't stock the biggest sizes because only a tiny number of people get that big.

I’m a Muslim and she is fine. But in Kuwait she really should be wearing abayas because all this layering she is showing is just a nightmare in that climate and nobody dresses this way over there. My guess is she cant afford the good stuff because she mentally can’t commit to the Muslim character she is playing currently and buying good quality or having something made to order takes full commitment to hijab.

Not related to Chantal but to your commentary. I had an aunt that was a smoker. Her name was Margaret. She used cans of Rayette Aqua Net hair spray. We were at the bowling alley one evening and she set her hair on fire. She put it out quickly so she didn't get burned and her hair was okay. You just reminded me of a weird event from my childhood. 😂

The black extra shirt does nothing to make things more modest when the clothes themselves are simply too small and tight for her. She seems to have gotten 4X but should have gotten 5X if she wanted to make these modest. Also, she just proved that she's been wearing too small abayas always. A correctly sized abaya keeps you cool in the summer, because it allows the fabric to flow around you so your skin evaporates heat well. You shouldn't layer it in the summer like she does with her undershirt/skirts, maybe wear a pair of loose pants if you want to. Also material matters. I have summer abayas and winter abayas for when I want to wear them, summer abayas are made from linen and bamboo viscose so they're really nice and airy but heavier than chiffon so they don't get blown away by wind. If you want some layering then add a kimono style coat over, very often you can buy them as a matching set.

He could take her to a tailor to have outfits custom made (due her extra skin fat areas) but he doesn't. Just keep wearing 3 layers when it's 135 degrees outside while he wears shorts that don't even cover his knees. They were just in Thailand, it would have been easy and done the next day. He could care less if she strokes out due to the heat.

This is how you know she hasn’t made a single female friend since she’s been there. She really needs someone to show her where to shop and how to dress for comfort/climate, modesty AND style. Instead, she gets this kind of stuff with terrible patterns and cheap fabric that make her look old and don’t even fit well. Yes, she’s covered, but everything is too small, too clingy, and she doesn’t look confident at all in too-small clothes she’s smooshed herself into. I feel bad for her sometimes and then that goes away quickly the next time she opens her mouth and says something stupid or obviously untrue. She needs some help in the fashion department, and another woman who’s familiar with the challenges she face would be a huge help. It’ll never happen though probably. 🥴

Most likely its just very cheap which is fine, im not loaded either. But for chantal, its probably impossible for her to get up off that couch very easily (or plop down, we’ve seen how she just threw herself into that office chair in the villa time after time, even cracking the floor tiles eventually. Her weight is not kind to furniture)… These couches were absolutely not made or purchased with functionality for a 400lb person in mind. I don’t care if its cute, if your couch can’t be comfotably sat on, it’s worthless! Salah picked it out of course with ZERO care that she can’t really use it or that she’d break it the first time she heaved her mass down onto it from standing like she does.
