Both the States have GI status for their own version of the Dessert because both were different in Texture and Taste. WB in 2017(Banglar Roshogolla) & Odisha in 2019 (Odisha Rasogola) So practically nobody Lost. ❤

And you havent tried Salepur Rasagola of Cuttack district by Bikalananda Kar. You need not go to Salepur, but you can get them at Bikalananda Kar outlet at Ravi Talkies Square in Bhubaneswar. Bikalananda Kar Rasagolas will give a run for the money to K.C Das Rosogollas. Kolkata Rosogolla is a 100 yesrs old, improvised, highly chewey, rubbery, and spongy but Odisha Rasagola existing since 10th century and mentioned in the Dandi Ramayana in Odia in the 14th century melts in your mouth, no need to chew it, Salepur Rasagola is slightly chewey but Khordha Rasagola and Nayagarh Rasagola are way more softer than Kolkata Rasagolla. The comparision does not exist or arise.

ভুবনেশ্বর এবং কটক এর বিখ্যাত বিকলানন্দ কর এর রসগোল্লা miss করবেন না। ভুবনেশ্বর এ শহীদ নগর এ branch এবং কটক এর শালিপুর এ main এবং প্রথম দোকান যা এখন বিশাল এক building এ পরিনত হয়েছে। শুনেছি এই কর বাবুই নাকি উড়িষ্যায় প্রথম রসগোল্লা তৈরি করেছিলেন।

প্রথম কথা হচ্ছে foodka আমরা সবাই কলকাতার খাবার ব্যা কলকাতার আসে পাশের খাবার চাই, আমি এমনিই foodka এর fan আর এখন এক একটা video আসছে ১ মাস ২ মাস পর পর কেন জানি না এর কি কারণ। Video অনেক কমে গেছে। প্রথম দিকের series গুলো খুব ভালো যাচ্ছিলো এমন কেন হলো চ্যানেল এর জানিনা। আমি আমরা সবাই চাই সেই প্রথম দিকের বিরিয়ানি এপিসোড, রোল এপিসোড ঠিক ঐ রকম ভাবে আমরা পুরো কাভারেজ দেখতে চাই। চ্যানেল টা ধীরে ধীরে অনেক ঝিমিয়ে গেছে আবার সেই রকম হোক। আর বড়ো বড়ো জায়গায় ঘুরতে গিয়ে খাবার ভিডিও খুব একটা চাইনা আমরা কলকাতার মানুষ কলকাতা বা তাঁর আশেপাশের aria গুলোরই video চাই। অনেক শুভেচ্ছা ❤️ Thank you. Bhalo bolle hoyto Kolkata Rashogolla... But the war was about who invented it. It's Odisha because Jaganath Dev used to offer it to Mahalakshmi after Rathjatra. So basically it's way older than Kolkata Rashogolla. If we say we exactly don't know when it was invented.

লক্ষী নিবাস গেস্ট হাউস এর প্রমোশন টা কে স্ক্যাম্ বললেও অত্যুক্তি হয়না। প্রথমত লাইট হাউস এর ঠিক পিছনেই না, বেশ অনেকটা ভিতরে। এবং যাঁরা বাজেট হোটেলে থাকতে চান তাঁরা 1500 টাকায় এর চেয়ে অনেক ভালো অপশন পাবেন।

You should have visited Salepur (near Cuttack) which is famous for the rosogola (Bikalananda Kar's) which has an ultimate taste and texture. So always be genuine to yourself and have the guts to say that you like Odisha rosogolla more than WB rosogolla. And FYI, regarding the GI tag that you mentioned in this video that you guys won is totally fake news. We have received the GI tag in 2019. Do a survey India level and you will get your results.
