I love watching FoodKa with my fiance who is from Kolkata and moved when she was young. We miss the food of Kolkata so much. We just can't get anything as good in Australia. I really hoped the subtitles were on all the videos 😢. I am trying to learn Bengali but with the subtitles I would enjoy the videos so much more. Thank you for showing incredible India! Mir da , we had a most discourteous experience in much hyped Flurys! When we stepped in the gateman's curt greeting was: Restrooms are out of order! The manager was compl nonchalant. We walked out never to return to reliques of colonial India. The fastfood joint across the road was enjoyable. Kudos to Wow Momos.

I can connect with coffee house. This is an incredible place. I am currently reading at presidency University so it is very close to me. Me and my friends used to visit that place several time. Hi. Flurys is something which a proper Calcuttan and somebody’s school college has been at St. Xavier’s is very much proud of. It brought a smile whenever Baba used to get the delicious pastries or Birthday and Anniversary cakes were ordered. As age grew the bases were shifted to different parts of the world but whenever we came to Calcutta, Flurys was a must whether it was family breakfast or packing the delicacies. Due to job issues and COVID could not visit India from 2019 to 2021. Gladly this year made it and to my utter surprise I found Flurys near my house at Ekdalia. I visited the shop with my wife and had the coffee with Rum ball and Cream Horn and the taste was same. Before leaving from Calcutta a visit at my in laws house near 23 Pally again found Flurys. We had coffee with Rum ball which was great and packed cream horn and chocolate truffle which to our utter surprise was stale in fact all the chocolate truffle pastries and cream horns were stale. Not expected from Flurys..
