Yep, that’s my go to for scrambled eggs too👍, and for omelette on toast. No salt in the eggs, just the Marmite on the toast. I live in Asia and, if I run out of the stock I bring back from trips to the U.K, I have to pay about £10 here in specialist supermarkets for a medium jar of the stuff. Totally worth it though as it’s an essential part of breakfast.🤗

Was born in the UK and came to Canada at age 7. Can't remember a time when I didn't eat it and I am now in my 70s. It is sometimes hard to find in Canada and it is a tad expensive, but a jar lasts a long time. I don't care for jam, but enjoy Marmite on buttered toast for breakfast. Also I love a baguette, spread with butter, a smear of Marmite and some grated cheese. Can't imagine life without Marmite.

During the 70's people were putting a dry flaked Brewer's Yeast stuff in their food. Marmite tastes like that, but with a bit of something else in it. So if you've ever tasted Brewer's Yeast, you've tasted Marmite basically. I never had Marmite until a few months ago when I ordered it shipped from the UK. I love the stuff.

I've found the best way to eat it is to make some buttered toast and then spread a THIN layer of Marmite on top. Warning, it is extremely salty, probably even more than soy sauce. It's not bad I think, but a little goes a long way.

We can get marmite here in NZ but it’s not the same! To get the uk version you have to buy “Our Mate” Almost an anagram -like the NZ version is almost the genuine stuff.
