OMG, you could have stopped at the Quiche! My mouth is watering! Some of us with egg intolerance can only eat eggs if the yolks are completely dry. It may offend the sensibilities of the purists, but it’s the only way I’m able to enjoy eggs.

Just for information... "...Quiche actually originates in Lothringen, a medieval kingdom under German rule, that was later taken over by France and renamed Lorraine . The French later enhanced the dish and renamed it, Lorraine. The original recipe for Quiche Lorraine consisted of an open pie with a filling comprised of egg, cream custard, and bacon. It was only later that cheese was added." - Atelier Monnier Hotel, France The bottom crust of the quiche was originally made from bread dough. Quiche didn't reach the U.S. until the 1950s. Quiche Lorraine with onions is actually called quiche Alsacienne

Good to know! My mom's French side of the family was was from that region. It's been decades since I've made Quiche Lorraine. The ready made frozen crust was OK, but they were so shallow, there was enough filling for two quiche. I'd used just lightly caramelized leeks & red onion, thoroughly cooked bacon, & grated Swiss cheese with a dash of nutmeg & chopped flat leaf Parsley mixed into the egg, whole milk & cream batter. Because I wanted to make my own crust next time, I haven't made it since the 70s. Too bad. I loved these flavors together. Will do again, soon. ⚘

It's so refreshing to see someone cooking with lots of butter and none of that keto/vegan diet. He also doesn't show his face, which makes me think his personality is shy like mine. A lot of those KZbinrs out there are young, fit and beautiful, but real regular people are not so photogenic and comfortable in front of cameras like these Instagram obssessed milleneals raised with the Kardashians.

I use 6 or 7 eggs as well so believe me when I tell you that you won't be eating for the rest of the day after one of these.

Some nice recipe ideas but why do all the SAVOURY dishes have sugar in them? Would willingly make many of them - already do but under different names - but without all that killer sugar which, to me, makes the end product inedible,
