Maybe the “Foot Defenders” thought feet everywhere were possibly slandered, by that “callous” remark in the title. But, seriously, I think it’s possible that there are those who reacted unfavorably to the use of Malcolm X’s quote in this context.
@JeffLuntGames3 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure either, but I think once someone flags it for whatever reason the notice comes up unless there's a follow-up review.

OMWORD you guys are so goofy and really make me laugh! I appreciate that so much!! The first time I heard your opening song I was hooked! Hahaha and I am saying all that to say this- I have learned SO MUCH about my body! Injuries AND helping to heal them. A lot of wisdom with humor mixed in! I love every video I watch!!! I showed my husband one of your back videos and giggled all the way through to which he said, “where’d ya find these guys!??” LOL he then said he’d try the exercises because they made sense. Thank you! Keep making your generous videos that make it so easy to understand difficult issues. Even foot callouses!!! 💕

These are great. I use fir my dry heels then put in an oil of some kind. But for a real callus (where there is a pinpoint growth going down in the foot) it won’t really work long term. IMO...

After many years of almost hobbling around because of calluses and visits to 3 different podiatrists, found Amope and my life has been changed. Glad you like the rasp but a slightly different one did not work for me. I don't feel you gave a fair demo of the Amope. I get the same or better "dandruff" results with Amope and it isn't necessary to bear down to achieve good results. Amope is easier to get into small areas like beneath the toes and does not produce arm fatigue from the sawing motion. (I am 80 and had very large hard calluses--no more.) Batteries last quite a long time. In fairness, would have liked to seen it used on the ball of the foot without scraping the toes or fingers that might be holding the toes forward. Have learned many helpful ideas on your videos, but think you missed the mark on this one.

First of all, hats off to the person that has the great sense of humor regarding the warning: “The following content may contain violent or graphic imagery”. That aside, in order to defeat the problem mentioned in the video with the lack of power the battery operated unit has is to use a product that uses household current transformed to 12V d/c current. What I use successfully is a Harbor Freight Chicago Electric rotary tool. The model I bought years ago was about $8. I believe now it is called a “Warrior” .7 amp rotary tool and costs ~$10. The tool I bought came with a variety of attachments (which were worth the price alone) some of which were sanding disks which work very well on a stubborn corn. BTW, the tool I bought was essentially worthless for woodworking as it bogs down in that media, but the sanding disks work well on a corn as I can attest, and would likely be effective for callous removal as well. A significant caveat is that the tool is not marketed for use on skin of course, and you or someone assisting you MUST have a steady hand and go carefully and slowly because it would be possible to abrade too much skin material quickly.

I did purchase this product the guys recommended but just don't be too zealous on removing your calluses. Take care with the planer as it is easy to go to close and cause a serious problem. I just want to share my recent experience because it may help someone having foot pain due to corns and callouses. I have degenerative disc disease, bulging discs, spondylosis due to arthritis in the spine and sitting too much or too long results in pain and sleepless nights. So i spend a lot of time standing which makes my callouses and corns or whatever they are on the balls of my feet PAINFUL stones in my shoes!!! I walk for a living and the most expensive sneakers are not helping! Urea cream helped a little. BUT a generous glob of Aquaphor, on each offending area, used in desperation, gave the most relief, and relatively fast. I put it on the callouses when I am at home and wearing crocs, or any plastic sandal will do, so that the miracle goo has only one place to go--into the callous. Sweet relief from bruising, miserable pain!!!

Weird video. You seriously didn't even address the common CAUSES of callouses? If you're getting callouses, you have a mechanical problem such as a metatarsal issue and probably need an ORTHOTIC INSERT with the metatarsal pad, to change the way your foot is operating. Especially people with bunions. Which also means you need a different shoe and probably one with a very wide toe bed.
