This was fantastic. It was exactly the mood I was looking for. Thank you for making this! What were the names of the movies from the 80s you used in this? It looks like you used some scenes from different Japanese feature films of the time, I'd love to watch them :)

First off thanks for the kind words. I guess you got the vibe I was going for 😊. As for films, I just used stock video of Japan from the 80's there are plenty of youtube videos with this sorta vibe if you just search up. Pretty much just used a collection of footage from those.

Sou brasileiro e professor de história. Tenho um amor muito forte pelo Japão desde criança. Minha mãe trabalhava em uma fábrica japonesa chamada Amino. Ficava na cidade de Diadema São Paulo na década de 80. Sempre íamos as festas da empresa em pesqueiros e até hoje tenho a cultura japonesa marcada em meu coração. After seeing this, Its kinda weird that most people associate japan with wonderness and tech. In reality they just same as other countries, theres homeless, overworked employees, Polution, and a somewhat Dystophian vibe ( because TNO) reminiscing the Post Soviet Cities

They have not much love for pedestrians and front gardens, thats true but they fully embraced the new time without second guessing. It's a form of courage lost to the west since the burning of the Hindenburg.
