The anti-terrorist operation has ended in Derbent and Makhachkala cities of Russia’s Republic of Dagestan where law-enforces neutralized militants who attacked the Orthodox church and the synagogue, as well as the traffic police post, and killed the policemen, the Russian media reported. As a result of the operation, 4 militants were killed in Makhachkala and 2 in Derbent. The hostages held in the church have been released. Special forces and armored vehicles were deployed in both cities. The relevant images were distributed on Telegram channels. It should be noted that 9 people, including 7 policemen, were killed and 25 others were injured as a result of the attack by the militants.

This is a Muslim region in the south of Russia. After the USSR collapsed, the USA actively supported radical Islamists in this region to destabilize the situation in Russia. Today was a church holiday in Russia, and the USA delivered a double blow: 1) In Dagestan, Islamists attacked two churches and a synagogue, killing a priest and 8 police officers. 2) An American reconnaissance plane was flying near Crimea, scanning targets, after which Ukraine launched an attack using American long-range missiles on a beach in Sevastopol, where people were vacationing. 144 people were injured, with 5 fatalities. Among the injured were 25 children. The most critically injured are being airlifted to Moscow for treatment.
