Having a lengthy discussion on gold but there is none is a waste of time. Corruption and favouritism at all levels have discouraged so many good players who have lost interest. Every time the blame is on grassroots. It's not. It's recognising talented, self-motivated, dedicated and diehard youngsters and then nurturing them. There's no shortcut in sports. I would like to correct Mr. Arnold, since many registered clubs sit on their butts and do nothing, it's football lovers like me who step in and organize tournaments. And we work very very hard to get sponsors, referees, infrastructure, sound, banners,etc,etc with no help from the club we associate with. And then the referees also come under scanner from GFA. If we do it under our own banner, we also come under scanner. The suggestion of gentleman from chandor is good about time of entry for late players. Again outsource the gold and then design it. No use talking if it isn't there.
