Very helpful, just wish #BAFRA did something visual, as reading MOFO and rules and interpretation book is extremely difficult to understand, visual learning would be extremely beneficial

Great video. Just an fyi, the word you’re looking for is “fewer.” Things that are quantifiable use “fewer,” and things that are not use “less.” Fewer children mean less noise. Less money means fewer dollars. Fewer employees means less productivity. You’re looking to see if there are fewer than 7 men on the line… not less than 7 men on the line.

Refs works for vegas we all know that
@ThePsho3 жыл бұрын
One can only imagine the lucrative profits Vegas must make off of fixing Central Virgina JV games. The real mystery is how they keep all those refs from whistleblowing by only paying $40-60 per game. (Pun and heavy sarcasm both intended)

Why do I need to tell everybody the receiver is off the line of scrimmage? If I’ve indicated that the number on the line is correct (7). Why am I also saying I have a guy off the line?

I always wondered what refs are paid on avg for High School JV & V, College Big 10/12, and Reg Season NFL. I wouldn't want the job - I would be afraid of being attacked by irrate fans.

So, who the hell has enough officials that you only do a jv assignment? You are lucky enough to have officials, that i get off of work and literally have 10 minutes to get to the stadium, so, im arriving in woek clothes and changing on the fly!

Can you tell us what the letters and the numbers are for on the back of ref’s shirts?
@jimmonybillybob43585 жыл бұрын
Sherri Olsen well, the numbers are mainly just so that the ref organization you work for can keep track of you easily with numbers, you may notice, that 2 refs never have the same number, and this is used to distinguish each ref! The letters are slightly different, and mostly used in the NFL, these letters indicate what position that ref is in charge of. For example, if you see the letters HL on the back of a striped shirt, it means head linesman (the ref in charge of the chains) or if you the the letter R, it means Referee, Head referee of the game, (the ref that stands behind the offence) or if you see the letter U, it means umpire, (the ref who stands behind the defence, there is also BJ for back judge, and so on!

HERES AN IDEA: GET PLAYERS TO START WEARING KNEE PADS AGAIN!!! Its gotten so out of hand now pop warner kids are folding their pants way above their knees. I used to cheat and purposely wear shorter pants. As a RB i hated the feeling of my knee being covered (look at my photo). As a senior in college i hit my rt knee on a facemask and it ended my carreer!!!! START ENFORCING THE UNIFORM RULES!!! YOU JUST MIGHT SAVE A KIDS CARREER!!!!
