Thank you for watching. The signals shown are a mix of the ones from the IFAB laws of the game and from real world refereeing. I also wanted to show how a referee can use body language to explain and sell a decision better. I hope some of the signals and body language techniques shown can be of some help.

Man you're so good at it. One question: Do you practice these signals/whistles alone? My dream is to be a referee. There's no better channel for people like me to learn. Thank you mate! Edit: 1. Can you make a video recommending (and/or testing) linesmen flags?. Think it would be very useful to assistant referees. 2. Could you make a video showing referee positioning and good practices (also described in the actual IFAB Laws of the game)?
@RefereeChannel3 ай бұрын
Thank you. I don’t practice like that. I have seen myself refereeing on videos and learned from that. Problem with making a positioning video is that if I don't have two teams on the field it wouldn't be practical. I would stand there alone without reference points. I will make assistant referee signals videos. I don't know about reviewing flags since they aren't as popular as whistles.
@marc-dantas3 ай бұрын
@@RefereeChannel Hmm, sad about the positioning video, you could film a real match in which you apply these good practices and just make some observations and arrows and stuff digitally. About ARs, please do this video. It would be very useful.

Yes

@@RefereeChannel Now that I am thinking, I am quite confused, I learned that if the ball is not fully out, we still play, but in your videos there were a signal about ball being slightly out. Is there any set circumstances for each of them?
@RefereeChannelАй бұрын
Slightly out means the whole ball is slightly out.

I'm using Google Translate. Thanks for the useful video. What kind of signals are there when a referee changes a decision after discussing with the line referee, fourth official, or other on-field officials?
@RefereeChannel15 күн бұрын
There is no particular signal. You just show the new signal for the new decision.

what does coming from an offside position mean? (1:47)
@RefereeChannel2 ай бұрын
When someone was in an offside position when the pass was made and was then punishable for offside when in an onside position. They usually get surprised when it’s whistled so this is a way of explaining it.

what happen to your whistle ?
@RefereeChannelАй бұрын
Nothing. I didn’t blow into the whistle every time since I’m showing different examples of the same signal. Nobody wants to see a 9 minute video with a full whistle sound every time. It’s a video about signals. The whistle is just to show when it’s needed.
