I honestly think that the fact that Manchester United have 659mil supporters is incredible, and the fact that I support my local team (Arsenal) and have 5 Arsenal shirts only since 2008 just goes to show I'm a proper fan. A lot of people, lets say for example an Arabian just watched football for a bit, I tell you right now he'll support United. Arsenal are one of the best clubs in the world for the simple fact that they have fans who aren't arses, and they are an elegant team.

I live in the states and my dream is to go to Old Trafford, just because I haven't been there yet doesn't make me any less of a fan than anyone who has been to Old Trafford. $1000 for tickets from here to England then tickets to the game itself is just too expensive. I'm a Gooner but I got to choose them because I'm an American with no ties to anything in Europe. My home town club is DC United and I love them more than any European club because they're what I grew up with. It may be difficult and certainly not glamorous Maya, but you should really support your home club. When they make it up to the Prem it'll feel so much sweeter plus it's something you can share with your family. My family hate soccer and I wish I could share my love for DCU with them.
