Personally, I think Trading Standards should raid Topps's offices. They are still refusing to answer my questions with regards to the "Platinum Limited Edition" scam. Complete silence for over a week now. I've seen a video of a guy with 3 Platinum Daniel Sturridge cards in his binder. They may just be football cards but card-fixing is an unfair practice & there needs to be a complete & total crackdown on this fraudulent type of behaviour. Topps are cheating kids, collectors & football lovers out of their money. They are making false claims & this is, believe it or not, illegal. Rumours are that the price for all Match Attax products in the next 3 years will be going up & the number of cards per packet will be reduced to between 7 & 8 cards. Enough is enough.

MIKE TYSON i used the trading standards question one a few years ago with the GSB scam and they responded the next year by putting the "odds" on the back as before they done that the golds were about 1:30 magazines when we ran these checks, without the odds shouldve been 1:3 of getting the 3 variations and they promoted the gold LE significantly more than the silver& bronze in illustrations. Im not really that knowledgeable about the platinum cards as dont really have interest in signed memorabilia but i expect you mean the monotone voice guy on youtube (dont mean that disrespectfully) he used to just try and paste links in my comments to his videos (cheeky!!) until i stopped it - a lot of people call him the "peacock" as he likes to say "look 33million LEs and 20 Autos" in his titles of videos so rather than actually caring about his viewers and trying to help them by getting scams like these removed just gives a toss about himself. thats why hes unpopular i guess or used to be i havent seen him around for months since i stopped him spamming my comments with links!! Did you try asking him where he got them from, probably an under the table deal if he refuses to answer... The collecting community should be everyone helping each other, its the only real reason why i do these videos to be honest, to speak and try and help fellow collectors and encourage youngsters to do their own videos.

i would say dont even bother with the mini tins, awful insertion rates of gold LEs and barely any other insert cards compared to standard packs.

i think everybody can buy now... i dont know you'll have to check with them. i do know the minimum order is £150 and the prices are approximately 25% cheaper on each product if that helps.

Do you have to buy a minimum number of a certain product though? For example i would buy multiple multipacks but do I have to buy multiple swap boxes when I only need one?

tutuzela 98 no you can buy 1 swap box and loads of multipacks. thats what ive done. it does depend on certain products though, for example you can buy 1 single swap box but you have to buy 1 outer of 12 tins like in this video if you want a tin.

If I get 2 bronzes I probably won't bother with them, if I got a bronze and a silver I'll consider getting another one and if I get a gold and a silver god yeah I'll buy another one to get the bronze but as if that would ever happen

I think the limited edition would be a good thing if it wasn't a variation scam that is just awful. The amount of inserts is just disgusting, I thank you very much for these reviews as I know not to waste my money on these tins. I just can't wait to buy the standard packs when they hit Australia in November. I remember buying Match Attax in the 11/12 season and there were just gold limited editions. I got one mega tin with a gold RVP and I got some nice inserts. I just really want to get the club badge logos as I do my own recreation but in a different way. I can do as many seasons and pick cards randomly. I also have a second division as you can get the teams from different years. Thanks so much Andy love your channel mate keep up the great work!

Gold Limited Edition cards = 1 in 8 tins on average, Meaning Topps expect every youngster to buy a minimu of 8 tins (£48) to get those LEs. For a low end collection this is totally wrong of them.

i live in australia and tins costs a massive $25 here and i got and got a gold but he was damaged and so were some of the base cards and i got multiple of one card in my tin too bad value over here too

that really is bad value and shows you why the odds of gold has to go to 1:3 tins. with the gold LE card, was there an email address you could complain to on the tin. Im sure they should send you a proper condition card if you send them a pic of the damaged one. let me know and i will get involved to find one if you dont have an email.

yes i can send it back to topps Australia in Melbourne for a new one im really hoping to go to the UK soon to see if i can get some UK edition match attax because here we pay $2 a pack for 6 cards and i really wanna see what these products look like! i keep up to date with your videos and you and Wb trading cards got me into collecting match attax and i started at the 2015/16 season and i also collect cards similar to match attax but for my countries sport which is AFL and i really enjoy collecting :)

I honestly think that the tins are the worst. They are really bad for getting players your meant to get and you don't. I don't have a clue why they changed the design of the tins back in the 2013/2014 season because I liked it when they were a big box. You could store way more cards and there were better odds back then. 6 pounds is not worth a tin at all by the way it should be about 2 pounds and then it would be value for money.

all we are really asking for with regards to the inserts is the same as you would get in standard packs. so if the tin costs £6 and packs £1 you would expect 3 MOTM cards on average (1 in every 2 packs according to ratio). so i dont think it affects their need to make money.

that is ridiculous buddy, i know they have had production problems. Someone else had similar emailed them and they rectified the error by sending him more cards. I would advise emailing them explaining the situation and hopefully they will treat you the same. their email address is [e-mail]
