Think about the fact that they were 10-7 before making some huge free agency moves. They have essentially 2 QB1's after having none. They added Queen to the LB spot and Elliott to the DB room. Can we take a moment to consider if any teams in NFL history with a draft spot that comes with a 10-7 record have done as well as the Steelers did? I attach the free agency moves to this scenario since the Steelers used free agency to address needs from last year, leaving them free to stay put in their draft spots and pick player positions that would definitely be there by the time the Steelers were on the board. If we had to go get a starting corner, safety and a strong backup qb then we wouldn't have had the freedom to pick the way we did.

@@davidmitchell6873 Based on what? He made the Bears the #1 offense 3 weeks straight _BEFORE_ they acquired D.J. Moore. Tom Brady left New England because his receivers weren't gaining separation. Fields' 2 best receivers at the time he made them the #1 offense were below league average in gaining separation & both dropped Hail Mary passes that *landed on them in the end zone this year!* I think Claypool is in the CFL now. His INT & incomplete pass reels feature his receivers dropping his passes that hit him in the hands. His TD highlight reel features him threading seemingly impossible passes through tight windows at weird arm angles, on the run & 50+ air yards with a flick of his wrist. Normally one has to watch Mahomes, Marino or Lamar Jackson highlights to see such passes. If he sucks, how come *all* his passes hit his receivers, even the ones they drop? When Kenny Picket sucked, the fans blamed the OC. When Fields' HC openly admitted that He Decided what plays to limit the offense to, cancelled the plays that made them #1, openly ordered Fields to not throw to certain receivers on certain plays even if that was the only receiver to get open it was _CLEAR_ he was openly sabotaging Fields. But not one person will address this? Kinda weird. It's almost as if people feel compelled to declare they accept whatever the most popular memes are, to feel like they're part of the popular, cool kids. But yeah, even I noticed that after a hot start they started stalling on drives mid-'22. I haven't seen any videos though that explain why. Now I've coached, trained & worked middle management places & am damned good at figuring out group dynamics especially when unequal status is present. Most people are _WAY_ more protective of their social status than they will ever admit to themselves. First clue I ever got about Eberflus was how he made it sound like he was bragging when he talked about how He Decided what plays to limit the offense to. He said it with a smile. The kind of smile that a privileged kid gets when his dad buys him a new car. The second thing was that when he talks about Fields, one realizes that he never _speaks _*_TO_*_ Fields._ He has his subordinates communicate with Fields _for_ him like he's a child-king. Like wtf? _Then_ the other stuff. When Fields first started stopping himself passing to Open Receivers it was new & I think everyone watching that game knew it was a play-calling thing & not Fields because what everyone said in the comments was that "they had to do this to simplify the offense for him." Anyone watching could tell he wasn't uncertain or afraid, & that if this were a panic reaction then throwing the ball would have been what he did when he shouldn't not the opposite. The thing is, this was clearly New Behavior & how tf did Not One Staffer Think it _might_ be due to concussion? Because he was executing the plays as called. When he did this at least 3 times that game & they didn't take him into the tent they revealed that They Knew He Wasn't Concussed. & the only way they _could_ know was if he *was carrying out* the plays correctly. So the Bears Called For their QB to not pass to certain receivers even if they got open. Please, someone, anyone explain to me 1) how that "simplifies" the offense or 2) can possibly work? "Hey, Tom; We decided to make the offense work better. We're gonna send 4 receivers out. Each different play we want to eliminate you from having to look at all four, so without knowing who might come open, we're gonna order you in advance not to throw to Edelman or Gronk. Maybe Randy Moss. Good luck out there." _How_ does this _work?_ Yet everyone saying this thought they were making a Real Good Excuse for possibly the most inept HC in NFL history! How did Fields accumulate so much hate?

Debatable ..I felt they really should have gotten a punter in the first and a water boy in the second. Really disappointed.

We're were 10 and 7 we would won more games last year if tomlin would have put in rudolph instead of shitbisky that he loved so much everyone keeps forgetting this cost us 3 straight losses we got lucky to get in playoffs it sure wasn't cause of tomlin. Our team hasn't improved with qbs I'll take picket and rudolph over these 2 new qbs
