We just wanted to hit as many game questions as possible in a short amount of time. My take is the targeting rule in general is the most frustrating in college football. It would at least be nice to see consistency on it

Foxx, I didn't mean to upset you brotha. That was rude of me, and I apologize. That Georgia / Texas mess was just that... a mess. lol. Kyle's right - there's zero consistency with it. But at this point, years into it, I'm not expecting any kind of consistency from officiating, especially after what we've seen with them changing calls, regardless of whether they're reviewable, or if there's indisputable evidence, etc. It's just a free for all. Officiating overall is just a disaster. But from what I saw, I felt the same as Kirby. I think about 80% of the things that are called targeting aren't actually targeting.

@@coachb.8565 I like both. I think SMU may be a live play as well ... more "anti-Duke" than pro SMU for me, (wasn't impressed with SMU last time out).

Whew, Bobby. That's almost like "what do y'all think of every other game on the slate?" haha. Temple has looked significantly better since moving to Simon at QB, but there's such a thing as the dead cat bounce after a team fires a coach, so staying away from that. I'd lean Rice +6.5 vs UConn because they're playing a lot better over the past few weeks, and I'm not sold on this UConn hype. JMU vs So Miss... JMU is inconsistent, but So Miss... see my thoughts on ECU above, since they just fired Will Hall. I lean SMU. San Jose... we talked about that. Untouchable until Stutzman figures out what he's doing with the QBs (PLAY BROWN!) and I think the Flashtec offense for Sean Lewis is starting to click, so anything over 2 TDs, I'd lean SDSU there... but if there's a Mateer rushing prop, I'd go over, cause that SDSU D gets rocked by running qbs.

@@WinningCuresEverything Thanks Gary ... Had very similar thoughts re: "Dead Cat" etc ... very hard to predict how team will respond. I agree Rice is sneaky competitive but was leaning UConn at home, (not that Renstchler is a big advantage). Seems like this should be a "get right" game for JMU but I think the number is too high. I'm liking SMU but loss of TE Maryland might be significant and even though they won 40-10 @Stanford I wasn't impressed, (sounds crazy to say that). I think Wazzu could possibly put up a number on SDS. Good luck this week!!!

(It feels weird) I didn’t go to Colorado nor am I a fan. I’m a grad of UNC (& a undergrad of UNC-Charlotte where I played 🏀) so my other question has nothing to do with who you picked or went against.
