Gomez is the most underappreciated player we've had for a very long time, he's had bad spells and lost his confidence a few times, like everyone a couple of mistakes, BUT he's never complained, he's been integral to our trophies, covers so many positions, works his ass off and he's a top PL CB and a very good RB. This version of Mo Salah is better than his first freak season in my opinion, this version is the most complete. Elite finisher, elite creator, tracks back, dribbles, he does everything so efficiently.

I won't lie, I agree with what Carra is saying about Trent. I'm a Liverpool fan, and I don't see Michael Owen or Steve McManaman on the same level as Stevie. Not even close. Actually, not even on the same level as Carra. There is something special about local players who don't leave the club for their entire career. Trent leaving on a free would seriously diminish his status with Liverpool fans, I think. Especially leaving on a free to Real Madrid now, who are not doing so well. He'd essentially be going to a worse team to earn more money. I'd be very disappointed to see him do that. He might as well stay at Liverpool, win trophies here, and in a few years' time go to Saudi Arabia and make all the money he wants there.

You may not see Mcmanaman on the same level as Gerrard or Carragher, but I am sure he is happy with his decision as he achieved 6 cups in 4 years at Madrid compared to 2 cups in 9 years at Liverpool. He has 2 league medals something Gerrard and Carragher never achieved. To me, this sounds like emotional blackmail to Trent. Anyway regarding a player as a legend of a club is subjective. Let's say Trent decide to go to Madrid and Liverpool fans lose their respect or love for him. That will not change the contributions he made for Liverpool. That memorable corner kick against Barcelona will always remain as Liverpool history whether they no longer see him at same level as Gerrard or Rush. Mcmanaman may not be adored by some Liverpool fans, but I am sure he is happy that in his career he shared change room and played along Zidane, Ronaldo, R Carlos..etc.

I love trent as much as the next LFC fan, whilst I do agree he may not be held in the same regard as Gerrard, HOWEVER, if he wants to leave to try something new then i think he deserves it. Liverpool gave him the platform, sure, but he still has to perform and be consistant. Hes won it all with us. Madrid are still Madrid.. they arent doing as bad as many may think.

Firstly, I said EPL. So Kenny doesn't count. Salah is definitely a better and talented player than Gerrard. Suarez was exceptional for liverpool for a season. Salah has been almost exceptional every seaason. Gerrard didn't win EPL, but Salah guided to one, and on the way to another.
