Our coach playing players out of position is becoming a worry. Most of the passes from Dalot and Dorgu was to the back, they could not drive forward with the ball, because it will be on their weaker foot, its affecting our attack. You cried for a LWB, you finally get one and you are playing him at RWB, its mind blowing. The coach is killing us

this season has been sacrificed as a learning and experimental season . This is Amorim's " pre season " . He is building a new system or structure of play from scratch from zero. If u remember what he said early on..that..." both fans and team are going to suffer " as we start to learn the 343..he basically was talking about losses also wen he said a " storm is coming " right after beating Everton 4:0 .. ok for example do you remember when Liverpool was finishing 8th and klopp told fans and press " I am building a new system " it needs time..the English press and football fans who Do Not understand football called Klopp a flop at that time same as Pep Guardiola in his 1st season he was called flop🤣🤣

I totally agree that him inverting the wing backs AND forwards was redundant. I have to think that he just doesn’t want to shake things up too much until they train a bit more. Getting a big ball going forward on your preferred foot is a world of difference.

Dorgu will drive the rest of the team mad, because he´s the only one getting what Amorim wants his players to do. He was clearly the best United player in the first half, he made offensive runs - just only got the ball once, but he at least tried to play the ball forward. He pressed his opponent every time he should, but slowly the rest of the team killed that spark of momentum he tried to bring in to the team. United plays the ball backwards to much instead of being on the attack and play the ball forward. Dorgu is the first signing of a true Amorim player, so just wait and see, when he gets another strong signing. I do believe in Amorim, but I just dont believe in most of the current united players are good enough or that they fit his style of play. Ugarte had several options in the first and second half to play the ball forward, instead he steps on the ball and playes it backwards..why? the same can be said about mainoo and Dalot. Dorgu is the future of United, but he needs help.

quick 1-2 passes are still missing. Amad - for however good he may be - does not pass the ball at the right time. Dorgu passed to Amad, ran forward and quickly wanted the ball back but Amad did not pass. Very soon Dorgu will get frustrated if others don't up their game. Only Garnacho seems to be improving.

With all due respect to Amorim, I think this coach has to be flexible in his approach. If as a coach I don't have the players needed for my preferred formation, I adjust at least until summer when I can have enough time in preseason and recruitment. This team has the players for many other formations other than 3-4-2-1. He should see how well he can maximize the attacking force of Zirkzee, Holjun, Amad and Garnucho all playing at same time in a kind of 4-4-1-1. Zirkzee will be good playing just behind the striker as he can hold the ball and connect well. Back 3 always make United one man less upfront, which always lead to backward passes because of fewer men upfront.

Yeah this was my biggest concern. What is Amorim doing? He's been doing a lot of strange things for awhile. I am hoping he is just experimenting. But honestly these are not the matches to be experimenting. I am starting to have my doubts about Amorim. This is his strike 1. You don't go out get a LWB and start his first match on the RWB. This is odd at all levels. Then we only won because of an offside Goal. These are not the signs of a future contending team.
