i play tight end and i find the zenith pads specificaly the Flyte 2 TD pad the best for me they are very flexible and great for mobility ill be using these pads into my freshmen year wish me luck!

My opinion try and test what truly feels the most comfortable with. I’m currently playing football in AUS 🇦🇺 I’m 5’9 188lbs as a WR/DB. I wear the smallest set of shoulder pads as possible I’ve worn OLine pads due to flexibility and how open they are. For now, I wear size small or Youth XL RB/DB pads. No issues. I’ve got teammates that are LB wearing RB/DB pads or Long Snapper pads, all what feels comfortable Just my opinion and recommendations, each to own. Wear and test what feels best

I never used the crap shoulder pads our school team issued us.Most were broken and rigged with strings that dated back to late 70s.same with helmets that had basically 2 sizes to small or to big.the thigh knee pads were way to big slowing you down.I also hated wearing a cup it chaffed like crazy.I never got hit in the nuts playing football i stopped wearing one after little league.I wore it for hockey but football never
