It’s the games against Villa, West Ham at home, Newcastle Away, Bayern etc. where we needed a clinical striker ! It’s these tight games and most of the time they decide whether Arsenal win something or not ! This notion that we don’t need a striker is ludicrous! Nketiah can’t score more than 5 goals a season and Jesus isn’t a striker really.

I don't even think it necesarily has to be a clinical striker. We've been linked with Eze, been watching him a lot, he's the exact player who could score at 0-0

there was many tight games where we won , without this striker , lots of these players still lost games where they had chances it changes nothing

Dan, you are correct. The Havertz goals will dry up; the set play goals will dry up and Saka's goals will dry up. We need a lethal striker. We can't sit comfortably and say we scored a lot of goals last season. We got a lot of "lucky" goals from Saka and Havertz.

Eze to Arsenal??? What! You think Pep Guardiola is even gonna read the headline? He’ll just laugh and carry on smoking his Cigar. I tell you what, the Calafiori link is the pedigree that gave him sleepless nights. His BP won’t drop the entire window. The next signings will be mind blowing. We’re not signing anyone. We’re bringing in players who’ll absolutely terrify Pep as we close the gap on him, before the season starts. People need to listen to Arteta when he speaks. He said he’s absolutely devasted we didn’t win. He hates losing. He said Arsenal will not stop until we close the tiny margins. Eze and them don’t close these margins, you need lofty pedigree of specialists; Calafiori is one. Next up is midfield and attack (most likely wide to cover Saka so he rests without dropping quality in std) a player who also upgrades on Martinelli who’s not able to scan while on the ball and is therefore poor against low blocks because he’s best running behind, he doesn’t do well in tight spaces with a double up on him. Reason Trossard eventually took the LW and why Brazil only play him late on when the game is much more open.

Arsenal are not signing Kimmich, he's 29, they'd be replacing him in a few years and his wages are extremely high. He's the kind of signing United would make. Bayern are only happy to let Kimmich go because they have Pavard

Honestly, I don't think Arsenal 'Need' is a clinical striker, but let's be honest. Who doesn't want the option to bring in a strong scorer when games get tight? Signing someone like Ivan Toney if he was 25m or Guirassey for 15m would of made sense. But strengthening other areas of the pitch and improving the squad are more important. 😂❤

Osihmen has missed the best part of 60 games over the past 4 yrs. We need to stay away from him. Hes also sat on the sidelines for the best part of 12months injured in seperate injuries. He plays 10 then misses 10. Stay away arsenal please. The problem we have with saka is who is going to come who is any good and Sit on the bench for 70% of the season. Its really hard

Clearly no objectivity in Chelsea as usual. As a Chelsea supporter, i am very excited about the project. We have the best talent right now in the league, i see us fighting for the top 4 before launching a full attack on the premiership. @@user-uv9js9yy2x this is where comprehension skills is important because Im not saying that it's a brown envelope i said that "I'm starting to think it is" meaning that it might not be. We could've got tielemens for 10mil cheaper who's premier proven but instead we spent more on someone who was not even proven in his boyhood club and league which I find rather strange whereas at least even Nuno tavares had a fair share of first team football for benfica and lokonga was in the starting 11 for Anderlecht and they both turnt out to be flops plus Fabio Viera was Edu's calling so I wouldn't put it past him

The best thing is that people always claim what AFC should do and should not and then Edu and Arteta do something very opposite and prove everyone wrong. That was the case when we signed Havertz and Ramsdale. They are poor people said, Arsenal has no ambition blah blah blah. If we go for a striker then it means that Mikel has a very clear plan for this season which is probably something that most of us wouldn't think of. TLDR; if we sign striker it means we need it - end of the debate :P

What exactly has he proved people wrong on? Yous have still won nothing. Ramsdale has lost his place to a keeper who isn't even that good and Havertz is still the same player he was for 3 years at Chelsea. The ONLY reason he looks slightly better is because he's playing in a better more functional team and he's been playing with confidence. Look at how bad he's been at the Euros. If you think Havertz will be consistently good for yous you are sorely mistaken.

German fans literally want him out of the starting lineup for Fullkrug as seen by that poll where 90% of them voted for Fullkrug to start. And how is he the same player as he was at Chelsea? Did you actually watch Havertz at Chelsea? He had good runs of form at Chelsea too. But he'd always go back to default, mediocre settings eventually. It's like clockwork and you'll see it again next season. Expecting consistency from Havertz is like expecting an injury prone player like Reus to not get injured. It's not happening.

He assisted and scored in one and was a standout player in another. You're confusing me for someone that likes Havertz... I think arsenal can improve on him. I'm simply just calling nonsense on your waffle about him being the same player he was at Chelsea when he started out of position in midfield for approx half the season and still managed to get a better goal tally than any season at Chelsea... and forwards are there to score. Even in the game he scored and got an assist his overall performance wasn't that good. German fans have been complaining about him all tournament and want him dropped for a reason. In Havertz best season at Chelsea he had 5 less goals in 8 less games than his first season at Arsenal. Keeping in mind he also played in midfield and RW in that season at Chelsea for a good chunk of games. Once again...the ONLY difference here is that Havertz is playing in a stronger team. Obviously his stats will be a bit better. He's still the same player when all is said and done tho. Idc if you reply or not btw, my point has been made. You can keep believing your own delusions 👍🏾
