Some of this news is working out nicely. I wouldn't ming going into next season with: Nico (Guirassy, older experienced striker to play last 20 mins) Sterling (Mudryk) Palmer (Noni) Nkunku (Chucky / Conor) The front line has a fair bit of flexibility already, Sterling will likely do well in this new predicted City-style system. And Noni, Nico, Mudryk and Chucky should all improve aswell. Striker market is not good, we have enough wingers (can we even sell some of them) already and there will be another new 'star winger' that no-one saw coming next summer. Save a bit (and do our PSR situation a bit of good) this summer. Concentrate on GK and LB (sell sanchez, chilly, maatsen, sarr, etc). Defence was our biggest problem area last season. Keep Chalobah. Done.

We need a more creative left wing, someone who can hold up play slow the game down or speed it up, and encourage a fallback to overlap. sterling is good but inconsistent and misses to many sitters. Mudryk is very direct, probably not suited to Enzo Marescas system I’d trade him for Kvaratskhelia.

I respect your love for Levi Colwill but to be honest I'm not super attached to him. This whole nonsense feels a little too close to what happened with Christensen. I know the transfer market is filled with nonsense chatter and rumors but if you look in the same window how quickly the Christopher Nkunku stuff died down and was categorically shut down by both the club and the players Representatives this tells me there isn't smoke without fire. My fear with Colwill is that he is slightly entitled to the idea of playing and if that is the case I would gladly sell him for big money to Bayern Munich and bring in Calafiori it not to say I don't rate and want to keep Levi but he's not that untouchable in my opinion it's not like he's the huge imposing physical player. The big problem is that Bayern Munich think they're going to get him for a bargain in which case they need to piss off

Kvarastkhelia sounds nice but that's a lot of money for yet another winger and god knows we've got enough wingers. Especially since he's a left winger, which makes me question where Nkunku would play. Not ST as the options we are looking at for that are all rather tall and Nkunku is not. But also not LW as Kvara would surely start after having spent a 100mil on him. Duran is NOT worth more than Maatsen. If it's a swap then Villa should also have to send some money our way. The Duran deal is entirely dependent on how much he'd actually cost. 20-25mil are fine but 40mil is too much. I'd massively prefer Guirassy or just sticking with Broja. The recent news of Chelsea thinking about extending with Gallagher is fantastic. Hope they can agree on an extension.

It might be 'easy' to get a 100% passing success rate in 20 minutes but coming off the bench cold into a very physical match where England were STRUGGLING to keep the ball. It's far easier NOT to come away with a 100% passing success rate.
