@hnaku874810 күн бұрын
Emotionally would love TT back. Much more easier to digest(give time) than Pochettino; TT was also unfairly dismissed. Rationally, I think he'd also offer a better gauge for these new players. He had us top 4 twice + multiple finals. So if even with him we flounder at midtable, then we have no option but to restructure the squad(sadly again, but hopefully with a better director). If we appoint a new relatively less known name as manager, then it's back to square 1 for us not knowing which is more of the issue, player or manager. No clarity in direction.

As horrific as this season has been I don't think we're far off competing. Bit of a clear out of the squad is needed and maybe a striker but I think we should stick with Poch, the result against arsenal aside we have improved massively from where we were, give him the summer and next season and I think we'll see even more of an improvement
@marvinwilliams5210 күн бұрын
Great video as always. Totally agree regarding Enzo and getting the surgery now. I feel we need him at his best, not dragging himself through games, hampered by this problem. And delaying the op may make things much worse long term. I also am now on the fence about Poch. I had preferred him to stay, but feel he has made so many errors with squad selection, not giving Mastsen any playing time in his best role, the rotating of CBs so there’s no continuity and then when Chalobah and Tiago Silva have solid games and a budding partnership, he goes back to a pairing we know doesn’t work, in a massively important game. And why haven’t we seen more of Chukwuemeka?? I think the end of season review will be flawed because of the poor judgment and game management by Poch. There is a lot to look at and Poch’s performance must take a lot of critical analysis too. He had to accept his part in the failings. While the owners and recruitment team are responsible for some appalling signings, Poch’s in-game management has been very poor far too often.
@Osa150110 күн бұрын
With so many injuries, it is hard to blame Pochettino for this season. Next season we will have fully fit Enzo, Nkunku, Reece James, Lavia, chilwell, fofana and Colwell. Plus more than one striker. All of this will improve our team performance significantly. It is crazy, how this chelsea team isn’t in a relegation battle, so it shows Pochettino is doing a great job with all things considered
@TVfridge2310 күн бұрын
Couldn't have said it better myself. All of Chelsea's starters are out injured. Chelsea have been playing mostly their 2nd/3rd team players this season. Any manager in the world will struggle with that problem in finding consistency when the team constantly changes due to new injuries. With all things considered, Poch has done a reasonable job in reaching a final and a semi-final and hopefully a top-half finish.

So if next season goes the same then what? Make a very delayed sacking? I honestly don't want to risk that again. Need more clarity. I would prefer us cutting our ego to get TT back. He had us in top 4 twice + multiple finals. If we flounder at midtable with him too, then it's clear the squad needs restructuring(again) but with a better director. If we appoint a new unknown face or keep Pochettino and have the same results then we hardly learn anything new. We need a known variable to have some clarity. TT would also be much easier to digest(i.e. give time) for the fans than Pochettino.

@loganlancaster480910 күн бұрын
I don't think Poch's training is responsible for the injuries. Not only has this been ongoing for two seasons before he came in, but if the training intensity were the issue the medical staff and sports scientists should be telling him that. If they were and he did not listen we would absolutely hear about it and he would not be in the job still. If he did listen and people still get injured its hard to point the finger and if they didn't that's an issue with the medical team. His high pressing style is intense and likely leads to more injuries on average than some but this will-they-won't-they bs with nkunku and Lavia does not seem like that.

Enzo is definitely a superstar level talent. It's just Chelsea's play style doesn't fit his. his passing is top tier but he needs a better play style than praying for Jackson to make a full into sprint 1v3. He needs good runs into the box and patterns to put the ball into those spaces.

Why? This goes against everything the new owners are trying to overhaul. With the exceptions to Michael Olise and Palhinha who are young enough and have enough Premier League experience. You're just living in denial, there's interviews out there saying they thought Chelsea was badly run on and off the pitch before they took over. They think Brighton is the best run club in the league, yet people still think things are going to change. The players don't want him sacked because he's their "mate" and hasn't got the bottle to lay down any authority to them. So they feel they can get away with the results they're getting and acting the way they do without any backlash from the manager.

That cannot happen especially here at chelsea the player's need to know and understand that here we expect better from them and they must deliver!!! If not then they are not worth being in a chelsea shirt. And poch needs consistency even on his selection of player's especially the back line. I understand the injuries but I think some player's are taking advantage of this injury thing. I don't know any Chelsea fan was critical of investing in young talent as a matter of I believe this will work out well however we would like to do well now as well and stay competitive. This is the issue that every Chelsea fan is mad about. Fix this issue now. Otherwise, the club won't be able to keep all those talent players due to FFP.

Simply put, the owners are shortsighted af when looking at the project as a whole. They’re putting too much emphasis on the next 10 years rather than focusing on the current state of our club that are in shambles rn. The only way for them to fix this is to add 3-4 more experienced players to help steady the ship and also to guide these young players. If that’s not working, then axe the manager 🤷♂️

Why cut the body when its fatigued. Our medical team is hilarious. He should have rested a few days first.

Paid 100 Mil for Enzo but not 70 mil for Endrick. Make it make sense

Poch is too soft, won’t call out lazy players like Enzo. Players are picked, loan or sell base on seniority or price tag not talent or desire to fight for the team
