As a ice tech/zam driver at a hockey rink, I'm always looking for a Kyrie like tread because they had a really strong grip on ice. In my 6s and 8s I could almost run flat out and these seem like they might be worth a look. I'm probably the only guy out there looking for basketball shoes specifically to wear on ice but when it works, it just works. Big props Doc! Thanks for the insight.

Got a pair of these, I'm very happy with the performance... I play in a carpet court, and as you say, it sticks on the floor insanely, the spins, crossovers and quick movements are so easy to do with them... the only thing I wish they had more is a little bit of cushion, but besides that, an excellent shoe for outdors.

I have GT cut low reps, the cushioning and bounciness is so good. But the traction is terrible, on a dusty court. I mean they are so bad and slippery. You'll swipe your hands on the bottom of the shoes every time.

@@wenii if you outdoor court is a leveled pavement fine surface either with paint or rubberized paint. id say get either that fits your playstyle and foot. i play on a painted court and a wooden court with the precision 6, works fine. it does lack cushioning though but i like its court feel

I have two pairs of these in different colorways.I love them. For the price, the shoe is better than I thought. Putting anotther orthotic in them is helpful to add more cushioning. Hoping there is a us release of the pink colorway.

Bad sizing, its either too small or too big, measure your feet without shoes, if ur foot is 10 for example, stay true to size, depends on the shoe tho

Zach Do the Nike Fly By Mid: Schools has them for $40. I have 2 pairs...managed to get cooler looking colorways (Doll Pink & Game Royal/Mint). These shoes are similar to the precision 6 in price but have the mid cut design and have a shank...plus some kind of unnamed Nike foam. Good hoop shoes that Ive used in trainings on court at least a dozen times by now (I have too many hoop shoes). They rival the KD trey models.

I am a podiatrist (too) and beginner pickleball player (advanced at Ping Pong). I agree with everything you stated but would professionally recommend no orthotics in these. I do not recommend stiff orthotics in something so elegant, stiff-shanked, 'heel-clipped, and fore-foot flanged. IOWs, it would be like mixing gait-inlays into court orthotics (that are already built into the shoe). Of course a few heavy pronators or high arched patients may prove me wrong ... and require orthotics. JMO/IMHO. Utmost blesings!

What would be a good choice of tennis shoe to reduce traction on very fresh hard court currently causing shock on the knees? Current Nike Zoom Vapor Cage 4 are good and comfy shoe but the court is so new they just stop on a dime and it's harsh on the knees.

personally, I am a wide footer and I don't enjoy playing the shoes as it is pretty narrow shoes, especially there is a narrow and thin cushioning in the arch that provide tiny support . Its really runny, light, however, the cushion and its narrowness doesn't fit my style of playing.
